iOS 7 Beta 7 Reportedly Launched Already To Developers

iOS 7 Beta 7 Reportedly Launched Already To DevelopersBoy, is Apple moving fast with iOS 7 – it is less than a week since we reported that Apple has just rolled out iOS 7 Beta 6 to developers, and fast forward to today, here we are with word from developers that Apple has plans to introduce the seventh beta version of iOS 7 today – in short, iOS 7 Beta 7. Apparently, Apple has reportedly seeded a new build of iOS 7 to its developers, and it should be released sometime later today. Not only that, it has been allegedly confirmed that the build number will be a whole lot higher compared to the previous beta, so one can only make the assumption that iOS 7 Beta 7 ought to be distributed and made available for developers at approximately 1pm EDT – that is roughly an hour from now.

One ought to take note in reference to the iOS 7 Beta 6 announcement last week which took just a few hours to be seeded right after it was announced – talk about efficiency! Of course, one of the possible reasons that iOS 7 Beta 6 rolled out so soon was because it carried an emergency bug fix for iTunes in the Cloud issues. Are you, as a developer, looking forward to the impending release of iOS 7 Beta 7?

iOS 7 beta 6 arrives ahead of schedule, available now

The latest beta installment of iOS 7 before the Gold Master version begins heading out, beta 6, was rumored to become available some time next week, according to sources who spoke to BGR. iOS 7 Beta 6 Rolls Out A Little Earlier Than Expected

iOS 7 Beta 6 Rolls Out A Little Earlier Than ExpectedEarlier we had reported that according to expectations, Apple is said to begin seeding iOS 7 beta 6 to developers starting next week, but surprisingly it looks like Apple has decided to seed the beta today! Beta 6 appears to be a pretty small update and weighs in at 13.5MB and for developers, it is available for download via Software Update. The full list of changes and new features has yet to be fully discovered, but for now it is expected to filled with the usual bug fixes and several improvements, and we expect that new additions or changes to be uncovered in the next few weeks.

Interestingly this update comes a week after iOS 7 beta 5 and many expected at least a two week period before the next release, but apparently this update is said to deal with an emergency regarding iTunes in the Cloud that needed a workaround, hence the earlier than expected release. In any case according to the rumors, this could be the last beta release of iOS 7 before Apple prepares the Gold Master build, which for those unfamiliar, is the final build that everyone should expect when it is pushed out to the masses which could take place on the 10th of September alongside Apple’s new iPhone announcements.

iOS 7 Beta 6 Release Expected Next Week, GM Build Rumored On September 5th

iOS 7 Beta 6 Release Expected Next Week, GM Build Rumored On September 5th

Apple unveiled iOS 7 firmware back in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2013. The firmware has not yet been released for the public, Apple has only seeded beta versions to developers up till now. In the first week of August iOS 7 beta 5 was seeded for developers, BGR claims to have heard from sources that the next beta will be released to developers in the coming week. Their source also says that GM build, after which the public release comes, is going to drop on September 5th.

This particular source has a proven track record regarding iOS 7 beta releases, so even if there’s no confirmation regarding iOS 7 beta release schedule, we have to weigh in this possibility. The exact day of release has not been revealed, but it is believed that iOS 7 beta 6 is likely to be released on Monday, if previous release windows are taken into account. Gold Master or GM build is expected on September 5th for Apple employees and its partners and if any major bugs are not found, it is possible that the public release of iOS 7 might take place next month. Apple is rumored to launch iOS 7 for the public after it launches the next generation iPhone, which is expected to happen on September 10th.

iOS 7 Design Makes Its Way To iCloud.com Beta Testers

iOS 7 Design Makes Its Way To iCloud.com Beta Testers

iOS 7 is scheduled to come out later this year, but in the meantime, Apple is preparing to roll out the new style that’s included in the next version of iOS to a number of its properties. We already heard Apple was preparing to make some changes to its AppleCare service to adopt some of the visuals included in iOS 7, and today we’re hearing the company has rolled out some changes to iCloud.com that makes it look more iOS 7-ish.

As of now, only the iCloud.com beta site for developers has been updated with iOS 7-inspired visuals as the icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders and Find My iPhone have been updated. Not only have the icons for these applications received the iOS 7 treatment, but the Web apps themselves have also been updated to reflect the new look of the upcoming software update.

Having its iCloud.com updated to reflect the changes Apple will make to iOS 7 is certainly a step in the right direction to make all of their properties reflect the upcoming change. If you happen to be an Apple customer who doesn’t like the upcoming look of iOS 7, it looks like you”ll be out of luck as pretty much everything looks like it’ll reflect those changes.

The public beta iteration of iCloud for iOS device of all sorts has been given a reboot today, bringing with it a full user interface redesign to match iOS 7. This is the first time the public – most of the public, that is – will get a hands-on experience with the look and feel […]

iCloud’s About to Look a Whole Lot More Like iOS 7

iCloud's About to Look a Whole Lot More Like iOS 7

The slow creep of Jony Ive’s flat-friendly software design is starting to pick up its pace with the new beta version of iCloud.com. That scratchy old black background is now dreamy blue and blurry just like iOS 7. The app icons have lost a dimension, as well, and now look like their iOS 7 counterparts. Frankly, it looks lovely.
