It was also compatible with all of Apple’s new mobile devices, such as the two new iPhones and the two new iPads. Few other iOS 7 compatible devices also supported the jailbreak. It was only a matter of time before Apple plugged the exploit used by evad3rs developers team to create this jailbreak, and the company might have done that with the latest beta of iOS 7.1, beta 4, which was seeded to developers yesterday.     Assuming you already have a jailbroken device running iOS 7, all you need to do is download Controllers for All, pair your Dualshock 3 controller with your iOS device by following these simple steps and you’re good to go. Here’s a mouth-watering demo video from the app developer, Ori Kadosh:

    VLC For iOS 7 Brings New UI And Gestures

    VLC is one of the most widely used media players out there, it is available for a variety of platforms. It was pulled from the App Store a few months after it was initially launched for iOS due to various issues, but then it was launched once again. Today, the folks at Videolan have rolled out a new update for the iOS app. VLC for iOS 7 brings a revamped user interface as well as new multi-touch gestures which aim to make it much easier for users to control the app.

    The new user interface is in line with the UI changes that Apple has made in iOS 7, the company made a lot of UI changes in its latest and greatest iOS update. New multi-touch gestures include horizontal swipe for playback position, vertical swipe in the right half of the video to adapt volume, similar swipe in the left half of the video to adapt brightness and two finger tap to play and pause. The app also supports downloads from Google Drive as well as download and streaming support from Dropbox. Users will also be able to rename any media item in the library view and delete multiple items at once. VLC is available as a free download from the App Store.
