Imgur: Imgur, everyone’s favorite super simple image hosting site, has had an Android app out for about a month now. As of today, though, the app is also available for iOS users, and now nearly everyone can be just a little bit less productive, together. You can do virtually everything you’d be doing on the web: browse images, upload, and manage your account and albums. And of course, all the interactive features that make Imgur such a huge draw are in teh app in full force. You can comment and vote on other people’s uploads to your heart’s content. [Free]

Slackers unite! Imgur for iOS is now here, giving you one more reason to shirk your responsibilities rather than tackle your to-do list. The release looks an awful lot like the Android version, but don’t let that stand as a deterrent, because there’s plenty of functionality to enjoy. This includes the ability to upload, submit and vote on images, and even manage your albums and account. You can also browse images by ranking or what’s gone viral, and then share them via email, SMS and Twitter. If anyone (such as your boss) gives you guff for spending too much time on Imgur, just remind ’em that happiness is good for productivity. Couldn’t hurt, anyway.

Samsung and Apple have been at each other’s throats for a long time now, and both sides have won some cases, and lost some, and in Apple’s case, the Cupertino company’s older lineup of products such as the iPhone 4, the iPhone 3GS, and the iPad 2 3G will be facing a ban in the US, ultimately preventing the device from being sold legally. This is due to the findings of the court who came to the conclusion that Apple infringed upon declared standard-essential patents owned by Samsung and is expected to go into effect come 5th of August, but it looks like there are a handful of US senators who believe that the ITC should reconsider this move.
