Another day, another report about Apple’s 2014 iPhone plans. So far the company hasn’t said exactly when its new smartphones are going to be unveiled, and if its going to launch two this year as well. We only have rumors to go on at this point in time. Today, Nikkei reports that Apple may release its new iPhones as early as September. Once again, two larger screen sizes are rumored.

If rumors coming in from the Asia-based supply chain are true, then Apple may have begun getting the supply chain primed up to begun the production of its next generation iPhone. Though mass production has reportedly not begun as yet, rumor has it that iPhone 6 battery orders have already been placed by Apple. Simplo Technology and Desay Battery Technology have apparently been tapped by Apple to provide the components. Dynapack, which supplies batteries for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c hasn’t received any orders as yet, according to rumors.

No one really knows what the iPhone 6 will look like. In fact no one knows how big the phone will be, despite the rumors that the iPhone 6 could come in two sizes: 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch (earlier rumors suggested 5.7-inch).
However recently a Japanese case manufacturer has uploaded photos of a dummy device that is allegedly based on the iPhone 6, although we have no way of verifying if any of this is true. At the same time it does make for a pretty interesting point of discussion, so why not, right? (more…)

Without a doubt Apple will be releasing a new iPhone later this year. The name of the new iPhone, its specs, and its design is pretty much up in the air at the moment, although there are rumors floating about that suggests that the phone could come in two sizes: a 4.7-inch iPhone and a 5.5-inch iPhone.
We guess this move would allow Apple to allow its customers to decide if they want a bigger phone or a smaller phone, although we’re not sure if customers might end up neglecting the 4.7-inch model in favor of the larger one, putting Apple into another iPhone 5c situation again. However according to Steve Milunovich, an analyst for UBS, he thinks that Apple will launch phones with different sizes, but just not at the same time. (more…)

The iPhone 6 is probably one the most anticipated smartphones of 2014. Regardless whether you’re a fanboy or a critic, many are definitely curious as to what Apple has to offer. Now we have heard many rumors so far and many of them seem to point towards the iPhone 6 sporting a larger display, the use of the A8 chipset, new sensors, but what about its camera?
If anything Apple is known for including a pretty good camera with its iPhone but for the iPhone 6, sources of AppleInsider have revealed that Apple could be keeping the 8MP camera found on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, or if they aren’t, the upgrade won’t be one that is too huge. (more…)

We’re only in March but it seems that it hasn’t stopped the iPhone 6 rumor mill from jumping into overtime. According to the latest rumor from the Commercial Times, it has been reported that Apple’s manufacturing partner, Pegatron, has begun to prepare themselves for the production of Apple’s iPhone 6.
Pegatron along with Foxconn are some of Apple’s manufacturers and have been responsible in the past for helping to assemble some of Apple’s products. However interestingly enough, the report claims Pegatron will be helping manufacture the iPhone 6, while in the past he company has been responsible for putting together iOS devices like the iPad mini and the iPhone 5c.
