Late last month the deal was finally confirmed, China Mobile launches iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on January 17th. Apple CEO Tim Cook is certainly upbeat about this partnership, he’s “incredibly optimistic” about the deal and what it means for the future.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Cook says that this deal is just the beginning of Apple and China Mobile’s partnership, and that both of them can collaborate more in the future. On the other hand, China Mobile Chairman Xi Guohua has revealed that pre-release demand has pushed orders into multi-millions, only yesterday it was rumored that more than 1 million iPhone 5s units have been delivered to the carrier just to meet demand after the launch. Volume for next month’s shipment is currently unknown. It is expected that cellular compatible iPads may also be launched on China Mobile later this year. You might recall last summer when a case for the iPhone 4/4S tuned up that turned the iPhone into a stun gun. A new case surfaced at the recent 2014 International CES from the same company, Yellow Jacket. The new case will turn the iPhone 5/5S into a stun gun.

Image: CNET
The case is available in multiple colors, including pink. It has a removable stun gun and the case itself is made out of TPE material. The stun gun can deliver 650,000 volts to an attacker.
That will certainly make you lay down on the floor and take notice if you get zapped with it. It has ambidextrous triggers and you have to flip back a safety strap to use the stun gun before you deliver a jolt to an attacker. It’s also 50% more powerful than the previous model. Ouch.
One thing about the case that is clear from this BBC video is that it is very bulky. The Yellow Jacket stun gun case for the iPhone 5/5S will sell for $149.99(USD) and is available for pre-order now.
