T-Mobile Tweets His Love Of The Galaxy Note 3 From His iPhone

T Mobile Tweets His Love Of The Galaxy Note 3 From His iPhoneWe’ve seen our fair share of celebrity tweets in the past where they have attempted to promote a phone or platform that is not an iOS device, but end up tweeting that promotional tweet using an iPhone. It is pretty funny and a bit embarrassing for those celebrities and brands but it happens, with the latest case being a tweet by none other than T-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, who tweeted his love for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, only to have his tweet discovered that it was done via his iPhone.

The tweet reads, “Glad @SamsungMobile decided to bring phablets to the states. I don’t know what I’d do without my #Note3!” Legere was then notified that his tweet came from his iPhone to which he tweeted a response saying, “oops. I carry both as you may know! That was funny.” He then followed up with a photo where he showed off both the iPhone 5s and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Given Legere’s role as the CEO of a major carrier in the US, we highly doubt that he only has one phone on him and it really isn’t surprising that he carries more than one, although admittedly his little hiccup with the tweets was a bit funny.

iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C Headed To Boost Mobile November 8

    iPhone 5s TV Ad Runs

You would think that a giant of a company like Apple would not need any kind of advertising to get the sales figures of its products going, but apparently, great marketing is essential for the success of any product or company. The iPhone 5c, for example, has already seen TV ads run recently, although it has not done much to make people want to purchase the smartphone, and the iPhone 5s which does not seem to need the help of ads to sell has finally seen its TV ad campaign kick off in the US. The first of such commercials was shown off during some NFL games, and it does seem to place plenty of emphasis on the shade of gold.

This particular clip that you see above hails from Apple’s YouTube channel, where it certainly showcases the gold version of the iPhone 5s, using a cleverly animated sequence which does seem to evoke the sense of the handset being made out of actual liquid gold that is later cooled down so that it can make up the case. What about the sliver and gray iPhone 5s? I guess those are just afterthoughts in the bigger scheme of things. Certainly the gold iPhone 5s is going to be the most sought after color version for the current iPhone generation.

Couple In Shanghai Sell Baby Daughter Online To Purchase An iPhone

Couple In Shanghai Sell Baby Daughter Online To Purchase An iPhone

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard someone do something crazy in order to raise enough money that they can spend on Apple’s most wanted products. Back in 2011, we reported how a teenager in China had sold his kidney for roughly $3,000 to purchase an iPad 2 as well as an iPhone 4. Selling your kidney is one thing, selling your child is a whole different ballgame. Chinese state media reports that a young Chinese couple in Shanghai is facing criminal punishment after they sold their baby daughter online and used the money to buy an iPhone.

Reportedly, the mother also purchased other products as well as expensive sports shoes. The purchases were made online after the child was put up for adoption through online postings and money was taken in return. Prosecutors in Shanghai have brought a case for human trafficking. On the other hand, the couple argues that since they already have two children and want the girl to have a better life, they offered her up for adoption. They say that they didn’t do it for “obtaining benefits.” It has not been officially disclosed how much the couple took for their baby daughter, but according to their various online postings, the couple was seeking around 30,000 yuan to 50,000 yuan for the baby. Obviously one can’t blame Apple for making such popular products, the blame rests entirely on those who commit such acts and leave a bad example which someday, someone else might follow.
