The iPhone 5C will be on sale at Best Buy all weekend for $50 off. Holy smokes that’s a good deal, and just two weeks after the iPhone 5C hit stores.
Apple introduced its voice activated assistant software called Siri with the iPhone 4S back in 2011. Siri has been offered in each iteration of the iPhone since then and is widely used by number of iPhone fans. Previously, Apple attempted to silence voice actor Jon Briggs, whose voice is the default Siri voice in the […]
We’ve heard about how smartwatches like the Samsung Galaxy Gear will play nice with your mobile phone, but if you wanted something more integrated, Bissol has a pair of watches called the Calibre 2000 and Calibre 788 that will literally integrate itself with your mobile device. Unfortunately if you were after all that hi-tech wizardry and have the ability to check your emails and messages, Bissol’s offering does not provide that, but if you wanted something a little more classy, then this could be worth checking out. As you can see in the image above, Bissol’s Calibre offering is basically a little add-on for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s, where you will be able to attach an actual working watch featuring Swiss movement to the bottom part of your iPhone device.
The mechanics of the watch have since been exposed and was designed to combine the intricacies of watchmaking along with modern technology, which we have to say they did a good job of doing so. They will come in colors that have been anodized to match the iPhone’s colors so it won’t look too out of place. We’re not sure if these are more novel than functional, but they do not come cheap as the Calibre 2000 is reportedly priced at $1,500.

To test the nature of the complaints, the folks over at Gizmodo broke out a leveling tool and compass, among other things, revealing that […]

The idea of “smell-o-vision” is one that’s been tossed around for as long as I could remember as people always seem interested in being able to smell whatever it is that’s currently showing on their TV set. But a Japanese company is looking to make smell-o-vision a reality through a combination of an iPhone application and headphone adapter. (more…)

iOS 7 is allegedly making some people sick to the point of puking. But Jimmy Kimmel has come to the rescue with the perfect cure: stop looking at your phone all the damn time.
A number of iOS 7 users have reported problems sending and receiving using iMessage (not that it’s the first time), and tonight Apple has responded. The Wall Street Journal has a statement from the company claiming the issue affects “a fraction of a percent” of its iMessage users, and says it will be fixed in a future software update. TechCrunch points out a support document that may provide temporary relief to those experiencing the issue, otherwise users may need to fall back to one of the many, many, many other messaging services out there (but not BBM, yet, and Google Hangouts had its own issue recently) to make sure those messages are getting through.
