Things are going to change once iOS 7 hits your iPhone next week. Doesn’t matter if you’re buying the new iPhone 5C or 5S or not, all those icons you’ve gotten used to will morph into brighter, flatter and larger versions of what you know. Best part about this GIF though? Scott Forstall’s creepy smile morphing into Jony Ive’s stone cold staredown. YOU WILL LIKE IOS 7. [GadgetLove]
Microsoft recently posted a video advertisement on YouTube, a lengthy piece that was a parody of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c handsets the Cupertino company recently unveiled. The video was both long and lacking in humor, and beyond that had a few head-scratching elements that all culminated in an advertisement that earned more criticism […]
Today pre-orders began for Apple’s iPhone 5c, the phone that’s set to replace the iPhone 5 in the company’s stock while the iPhone 5s takes the hero spot, and they’ve already begun to sell out pre-orders. Though it is only one model and one color for now, it would appear that this smartphone is set […]
Earlier this year Google enhanced the voice recognition search system embedded in the Chrome web browser for desktop machines so that it’d understand pronouns – then this ability came to Android, and now it heads to iOS. What this means for this week’s update of Chrome (version 29, that is), is that you’ll be able […]
I am quite sure that those of you out there who absolutely cannot wait for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c to be made available will be looking forward to September 20th, as that is when both smartphones will be making its way to the market across multiple carriers. T-Mobile has already shown off their “hand” earlier this morning, and here we are with AT&T making an announcement that they too, would allow you to grab hold of the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c (depending on your preference) this coming September 20th./
You will be able to enjoy low monthly installments with AT&T Next, and of course, while most carriers have somewhat similar pricing for the same device, here is what AT&T is asking for the iPhone 5s. You will be able to pick up the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models for $199, $299 and $399, respectively, while the iPhone 5c will be available for $99 a pop if you are going to settle for the 16GB model, while the larger capacity 32GB model will retail for $199. Not only that, those who want the iPhone 4s will have to fork out a single dollar ($0.99 to be exact), where that will be accompanied by a two-year agreement. [Press Release]

Though it’s not immediately clear what Microsoft and HTC are doing with the devices they’re taking in trade, they’ve both made clear this week that they’re not about to let Apple have all the fun with an upgrade program for devices. Microsoft has launched a program specific to iPads and their own Surface tablets this […]
Prior to the release of the iPhone 5C, the majority of the tech community assumed the “C” stood for “cheap,” meaning the device would be introduced as a cheaper iPhone that could be purchased for much less than the latest and greatest iPhone. It turns out we were wrong as Apple introduced an iPhone 5C that doesn’t cost that much less than the iPhone 5S, although it left many people thinking what a cheap iPhone would look like. Funny or Die let their imagination loose as they created a video that takes a look at what a cheap iPhone would look like. (more…)

We’ve seen an iPhone 5 case that has a Lightning cable attached to its back, which would allow you to charge your iPhone 5 nearly anywhere there’s a power outlet, so long as you have your adapter with you. You don’t see many iPhone cases that come with a built-in charger, which is exactly what makes the Prong PocketPlug so unique as it combines an iPhone case with a charger that helps to do away with wires and cables. We’ve been hearing about the gold iPhone 5S for several months prior to its official unveiling this past week. Numerous leaks pretty much confirmed a gold iPhone would be made available, and that’s exactly what happened. Considering how long Apple probably knew about not only its gold iPhone 5S, but the multitude of colors that would be available with the iPhone 5C, we’re surprised they didn’t also announce new accessories that would match the color of your iPhone would also be released. If you’re a future owner of a gold iPhone 5S, then you’ll want to have a matching Lightning cable to show off just how much you love gold. (more…)
