Emojis look cute in your inbox and chat windows, but they reveal nothing about the true nature of the person on the other end. Of course, you can probably vouch for people you actually know.

But what about strangers who chat you up because they find your avatar pretty or because they find your username clever? You might know better than to fall for such lines and assume that you’re chatting with a nice person because of the plethora of smiling and winking emojis he’s sending your way – but kids don’t. That can easily make them susceptible to online predators who prey on the young and innocent.

With this in mind, international non-profit Innocence en Danger commissioned ad agency Rosapark to create a series of images using creepy, real-life emoticons to raise awareness on these dangers kid can encounter online.

The posters and gargantuan emoji-fied faces are beyond creepy. Hopefully, the campaign will encourage more parents to pay attention to what their kids are doing online.

Go, go, Power Rangers!

The theme song would play at full volume every time my sisters and I got home from school. We made a deal with our mom then that we’d do our homework every night and eat all the vegetables on our plates if she let us watch the show when school let out. I don’t watch the show anymore and don’t even follow it now, but I still have fond memories of that part of my childhood.

Whether you have similar stories or grew up watching the mighty, morphin Power Rangers fight evil in your PJs, then you will no doubt find these Power Ranger onesies adorable! They’re currently sold out since they were marked down to $5 each for the holiday season, but hopefully they’ll be back in stock next year so you dress your little one in proper Ranger garb.

Aww. This is adorable. Lilly and Leon Mackie play dress up with their little kid Orson and turn him into baby versions of Luke Skywalker, baby Batman, baby Macaulay Culkin, baby Castaway and so forth so that they could recreate scenes from famous movies. You’ll see mom, dad and child pose for photos of baby versions of Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Die Hard, Terminator, Jaws and so many more classics. Orson is going to grow up awesome.
