Leaks detail PC Mobile postpaid contract pricing, launch delays

Leaks detail PC Mobile postpaid contract pricing, launch delays

June 5th came and went, without the introduction of PC Mobile’s new postpaid plans and smartphone lineup. MobileSyrup heard the launch had been pushed back to today, but is now reporting the MVNO is delaying it further. A few more details of what the Canadian carrier is expected to offer when it eventually follows through have emerged, however, including the all-important price points. Three contract tiers will be available, costing $35, $50 or $65 per month, with the number of any-use minutes and data allowance increasing with the spend. You’ll also be able to purchase “stacks” that give you extra chatter time or megabytes for the month. Full details of the plans are available at the source link, but exactly when PC Mobile will begin promoting them alongside a refreshed handset selection is still anyone’s guess.

Pentax Q7 purportedly leaks with three color options, larger sensor than Q10

Pentax camera launches always seem to be colorful affairs, and if new images are to be believed, a multi-hued mirrorless model with a retro bent will soon arrive from the outfit. According to serial leaker Digicame-info, a new Q7 model will be unveiled with a larger 1/1.7-inch sized sensor than the 1/2.3-inch CMOS-packing Q10, and come with a kit zoom or optional standard prime lens on July 5th. Until we hear it from the source, though, it’d be wise to hold off on buying matching silver, black or yellow outfits.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 possibly spied posing for official imagery

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 possibly caught posing for an official image

When Samsung’s GT-S7272 made its way through the FCC a few days ago, it existed as little more than a set of numbers. If SamMobile is on the ball, however, we may now have a face to go with those digits. The site claims to have an official shot of the phone, which might launch under the Galaxy Ace 3 badge. While it’s hard to verify specs attached to the rumor, they line up with both the image and a few previous details. The Ace 3 may ultimately be a subtle evolution of its predecessor with a 4-inch WVGA screen, a dual-core 1GHz chip, Android 4.2 and design ideas borrowed from its bigger cousins. Will this diminutive device launch at Samsung’s June 20th event, in tandem with the Galaxy S 4 Zoom? We can’t say for sure, but we’ll certainly be keeping our eyes open.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 70 and 80 spotted in golden brown hues

Do you wish Samsung would color its newer Android tablets in a shade other than washing machine white? You may be in luck: @evleaks claims to have images of both the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and 8.0 in what’s billed as a “gold-brown” tint. There aren’t any details of when these earthier variants could launch, or if other colors would tag along. Knowing Samsung’s willingness to offer a rainbow-like selection of devices, though, brown might not arrive alone.
