LG G3 Mini Seemingly Confirmed In User Agent Profile

LG G3 Mini Seemingly Confirmed In User Agent ProfileJust yesterday we caught wind that a certain LG G3 mini could be in the works. This is according to the device’s codename being spotted, which is the “B2 mini”. With the LG G3 supposedly being the B2, the B2 mini could only be the LG G3 mini. That being said, it seems that LG has confirmed the existence of the device themselves, thanks to a sighting on LG’s User Agent Profile.

Whether or not the device is really the LG G3 mini remains to be seen, but at the very least we know that the LG D725 is real and exists. The UA profile has revealed just that and has also confirmed some of the rumored specs that we heard about yesterday.

One of the specs that they confirmed is how the LG D725 will feature a 1280×720 HD display. It also revealed that the phone would come with both 3G and LTE connectivity, which is good news since the device does sound like a mid-ranged device. Unfortunately other specs such as its camera and Android version, which are rumored to be 8MP and Android 4.4.2 KitKat respectively, have yet to be confirmed.

In any case the LG D725 is also said to be arriving on AT&T but whether or not that is happening remains to be seen. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for more information.

LG G3 Mini Headed For AT&T (Rumor)

LG G3 Mini Headed For AT&T (Rumor)The upcoming flagship LG G3 device has yet to be officially released, but it does seem as though there is a mini version of the LG G3 already. Rumors of the LG G3 mini have begun to make its rounds, where a device that carries the model number LG D725 has been seen in a leaked document, carrying the codename “B2 mini”. Considering how the LG G3 is widely tipped by many to be called the B2, the B2 mini would naturally lead one to conclude that this is the LG G3 mini.

In the leaked document, the the LG D725 happens to be the AT&T variant of the device, which means we could be looking at the LG G3 mini making its way to AT&T in due time. Some of the hardware specifications that were mentioned in the document would include a 720p display of unknown resolution, Android 4.4.2 KitKat as the operating system of choice, an 8-megapixel shooter located at the back.

Of course, do take this particular rumor with a pinch of salt since it is not that difficult to forge documents, although it would not be surprising to see the LG G3 mini materialize considering how major smartphone manufacturers are moving in the mini direction for their flagship models.

LG G3 Mini Rumored To Be In The Works

LG G3 Mini Rumored To Be In The WorksWe have been hearing rumors about the LG G3 for a while now and what we know about the device is that it could feature a 2K display, but other than that, the rest is pretty much speculation. However thanks to new rumors that have surfaced, it seems that not only will there be an LG G3, but there will apparently be an LG G3 mini as well.

We’re not sure what it is with Android OEMs and creating mini versions of their handsets, but presumably there is a demand out there otherwise they wouldn’t have bothered, right? In any case the LG G3 mini rumors have started due to a “B2 mini” codename that has surfaced. Given that the LG G3 is expected to be known as the B2, the B2 mini is presumably the LG G3 mini.

That being said, the LG G3 mini has yet to be officially announced but in the meantime, here are some of its rumored specs. The handset will pack a 720p HD display, although the size of the display remains unknown. It will also run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is actually a good thing, and it will also pack an 8MP rear-facing camera, at least this is based on the resolution of the photos which sets it at 8MP.

Now we should note that none of this is official yet so take it with a grain of salt. There’s also no telling when LG will announce the LG G3 or the LG G3 mini for that matter, but what do you guys think? Should Android OEMs really cut down on the multitude of releases? Isn’t it getting a little bit overboard?

The LG L65 Is Official

The LG L65 Is OfficialSo the other day we caught wind that LG could be working on another L-series handset known as the LG L65, and it turns out that the rumors were right because LG has since officially announced the handset on their Russian website which has us wondering if the device will make its way stateside, but then again there are carriers such as MetroPCS who stock the LG L70 so there is a chance that maybe it will.

It also seems that the rumors were right about the phone and some of its hardware specs. For starters the phone will come with a 4.3-inch IPS display but as far as resolution is concerned, the LG L65 will only come with a WVGA 800×480 display which is admittedly pretty low as far as modern smartphones are concerned.

The phone will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz (dual-core) and will be accompanied by 1GB of RAM. There will also be a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, 4GB of onboard storage expandable via microSD, a 2,100mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity.

The good news is that despite its low-end specs, the LG L65 will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat, so users don’t have to worry about waiting for any updates since it will be running the latest version of Android. The phone is priced around $210 in Russia so we can expect that it will be priced affordably when it arrives in the US as well, if and when it does.

It’s not the most powerful phone but like we said, it’s affordable so if you’re in the market for a device that does not break the bank, perhaps the LG L65 is a phone to keep an eye out for.

LG G3 Design Rumored To Be Pretty Similar To LG G2

LG G3 Design Rumored To Be Pretty Similar To LG G2Apart from the flagship phones announced earlier this year, there are still a handful of handsets left that many are looking forward to. This includes the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the iPhone 6, and the LG G3. So far what we know about the device, through leaks and rumors, is its possible design, its display resolution, and the possibility of it launching in June.

However in the meantime thanks to Bulgarian blog, Nixanbal, it seems that one of their inside sources has managed to get a good look at the upcoming handset and while there are no photos (just a mockup pictured above), they provided the website with a pretty detail description of the phone and what we might be able to expect.

Once again we should note that this isn’t official information so it should be taken with a grain of salt until LG makes it official, but then again Nixanbal has been pretty good when it comes to leaks so perhaps there might be some truth in their report. That being said, screen size was not determined but it is speculated that it could be a 5.5-inch display, except that it will feel smaller thanks to LG shrinking down the bezels.

The source has also described the design of the LG G3’s body to be similar to that of the LG G2. However instead of a glossy polycarbonate body, the LG G3’s body has been described to be of a smooth matte finish which we guess is similar to the Nexus 5 (also by LG). The back cover is also said to be removable which means that a microSD card can be added to expanded on its memory.

There will also be no buttons on the front or the sides. Instead the LG G3 will put all physical buttons to the back of the phone like the LG G2, and the lock key will also come with an LED light which we guess is used to indicate if it is on/off, or it could also be used as a notification LED (we’re only speculating). Other than that, the hardware specs have not been revealed so it’s still all rumors for now, so like we said earlier, take it with a grain of salt.

AT&T’s LG G Flex Tipped For Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update Tomorrow

AT&T’s LG G Flex Tipped For Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update TomorrowAT&T’s support website did mention in passing that the mobile carrier will be rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the LG G Flex from this coming Thursday onward – which is tomorrow, by the way. We have caught hold of the LG G Flex before at the end of last year, before getting a unit ourselves for a prim and proper review. The LG G Flex is different from other smartphones as it comes with a curved display and a self-healing back, allowing it to “endure” minor nicks that would “heal”, without leaving a scar on lesser handsets. It seems that the upcoming update will be done Over The AIR (OTA), where it weighs a rather massive 686MB – so getting it hooked to a Wi-Fi network might be a good idea.

With this OTA update, expect your LG G Flex to be able to experience a new full-screen “immersive” mode, better navigation and status bars, enhanced processing speed, and improved battery life that ought to bring a smile to the face of any LG G Flex owner.

Of course, AT&T prefers to tread on the side of caution, suggesting that you make a back up of your data before you actually download and apply the update, never mind that theoretically speaking, it ought not to have any effect on your personal content. AT&T also did mention that it would be wise to remain connected to a Wi-Fi network when performing the update of your LG G Flex, while making sure the handset has at least half its battery level left. It will be released in waves, so fret not if your LG G Flex shows no signs of Android 4.4.2 KitKat goodness tomorrow.

LG L65 Press Rendering And Specs Leaked

LG L65 Press Rendering And Specs LeakedIf you’re in the market for a handset that’s affordable, perhaps the upcoming LG L65 might be of interest to you. LG has yet to officially announce the handset and this is pretty much the first time we’ve heard of it, but thanks to a recent post by the ever-reliable @evleaks, a press rendering of the handset along with some of its possible hardware specs have been revealed.

In terms of design, the LG L65 looks pretty simple and straightforward, so if you were after something with no frills, this should be more than capable of getting the job done. As far as hardware specs are concerned, the initial specs revealed by @evleaks shows that the device isn’t exactly flagship quality.

According to his post, the LG L65 will feature a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 4.3-inch display, and a 5MP rear-facing camera. No mention about the phone’s display resolution but chances are it will not be of the Full HD quality. There was also no mention of when the LG L65 will be announced, how much it will cost, or which carrier it will be headed for, but based on its specs, we can only assume that it will not be breaking the bank anytime soon.
