Press Render Of LG L90 For T-Mobile Leaked

Press Render Of LG L90 For T Mobile LeakedEarlier this year ahead of MWC 2014, LG announced a slew of new handsets and the LG L90 was one of them. Now just last week we learnt that the LG L90 could be making its way onto T-Mobile’s network and now thanks to a recent photo by the ever-reliable @evleaks, the press rendering of T-Mobile’s version of the LG L90 has since been leaked online.

To be fair there’s nothing about the handset that would indicate its arrival for T-Mobile, but @evleaks has been pretty reliable and spot on with his leaks in the past, so perhaps there might be some truth to his claims. There’s no word on when the LG L90 will be released although the rumors have it pegged for the 23rd of April.

For those who might have missed our MWC 2014 coverage, here’s a recap of the LG L90 for you guys. The handset will pack a 4.7-inch 540×960 display. It’s not the highest resolution you might expect but it will get the job done, not to mention it does help to cut down the cost of the device which in turn could result in an affordable handset.

The LG L90 will also be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for those who might need additional storage. It will also come with an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a 2,540mAh battery and will also come with LG’s Knock Code security feature.

There are some parts of the world in which the LG L90 has already been launched where it has since been priced around $317 unlocked, so we can assume that when it does arrive on T-Mobile, it should be pretty cheap/affordable as well.

LG G3 Screenshot Sees More “Flat” Design (Rumor)

LG G3 Screenshot Sees More “Flat” Design (Rumor)The smartphone that was non-existent at the Mobile World Congress that was held in February earlier this year, the LG G3, has had its fair share of rumors. Among them include the possibility of a 5.5″ display and an octa-core MediaTek chipset, a “confirmed” 2650 x 1440 resolution display, an alleged photo sample, and a possible June release date, where all of these have yet to prove themselves to be true. Why not add in one more speculation into the hat after having gone through so many already? In the leaked screenshot that you see on the right, the alleged LG G3 screenshot does point to a more “flat” design where its app icons are concerned.

LG L70 To Be Launched By MetroPCS

LG L70 To Be Launched By MetroPCSFolks who are on the lookout for the LG L70, here is some good news for you. This particular smartphone is set to appear on MetroPCS later this April, where it happens to be a member of the new LG Series III which was unveiled earlier this year even before Mobile World Congress in Barcelona had a chance to kick off. The LG L70 happens to be an Android-powered smartphone that will cater to the low end and mid-range market, where an affordable price point delivers pretty decent hardware specifications to boot.

Why MetroPCS, and just which particular crystal ball did we gaze into? No palantirs from Middle Earth were used in the process, but it seems that the leaked image from @evleaks point to a MetroPCS branding spotted on the LG L70 itself.

In terms of hardware, the LG L70 will arrive with hardware specifications that should be more or less similar to its internationally available sibling. This would translate to a 4.5” IPS display at 800 × 480 resolution, an 8MP or 5MP camera at the back, a front-facing VGA camera, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; GPS support and a 2,100 mAh battery. Good thing the LG L70 will have Android 4.4 KitKat right from the get go despite it being a non-flagship device. Now to wait for MetroPCS’ official announcement.

LG And Harman/Kardon Partner To Deliver Quality Audio For OLED And Ultra HD TVs

LG And Harman/Kardon Partner To Deliver Quality Audio For OLED And Ultra HD TVsIt pays to synergize as you can maximize the strengths of both parties , where more often than not, it would result in an exponential benefit. LG’s partnership with Harman/Kardon has started to bear fruit, where their collaboration focused on developing an advanced audio technology that will be employed in a couple of its OLED TV models as well as up to five of its ULTRA HD TVs. The ULTRA Surround system is tipped to deliver a level of viewer immersion that LG claims could be found only in cinemas before this.

I suppose there is no harm at all in partnering with one of the most respected names in the audio industry, and Harman/Kardon has worked alongside LG engineers to develop a speaker system which could deliver even, distortion-free sound with deep bass as well as a wide bandwidth. ULTRA Surround is capable of reproducing audio with amazing fidelity, where viewers would be placed at the center of a wide and evenly dispersed soundstage.

Your ears will benefit from superb dynamic range, in addition to sound balance with exceptional accuracy. It also boasts of an extra wide playable bandwidth and powerful output, and everything sounds all the more realistic thanks to a state-of-the-art algorithm that delivers convincingly real soundscapes.
