A couple of days back LG announced that its latest Android flagship smartphone, the LG G2, will be headed to the U.S. in September. Previous rumors had pegged the Verizon and AT&T launch on September 12th and September 13th respectively. Earlier today T-Mobile finally ita G2 release date, the latest LG flagship will be available from Magenta on September 18th. AT&T isn’t staying on the fence, it too has finally revealed the launch date. AT&T LG G2 launches September 15th for $199.99 with a two year contract.

Those who are not willing to stick with a two year service contract can opt for AT&T’s Next program. Under the program, customers will have to make 20 equal monthly payments of $27 on top of their service plan. The added advantage of going with Next is that AT&T will allow customers to upgrade their device in 12 months, on contract customers have to wait at least 24 months before being eligible for an upgrade. The G2 is LG’s new powerhouse, it touts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quadcore processor, a 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a lot more. At last, the LG G2 has a US release date: T-Mobile is shipping the Android flagship to stores on September 25th, with online availability starting September 18th. The 5.2-inch smartphone will require a $100 initial spend on a downpayment plan, and costs $630 outright. Both black and white colors will be available, although you’ll have to order the white version online; thankfully, you can pre-order either model today. Too expensive for your tastes? You can buy the newly available Optimus F6 instead. The 4.5-inch budget smartphone is now selling online for $50 on a downpayment plan, or $290 at full price. Those who’d prefer a walk-in purchase can pick up the F6 at a retail store on September 11th.

Update: Verizon has since provided its G2 launch details, and it’s beating T-Mobile to the punch. It will release its logo-laden variant on September 12th for $200 on a two-year contract.

Update 2: AT&T has chimed in as well: it will sell the G2 on September 13th for the same $200 on contract as Verizon, or $27 per month on Next.

Ever since LG introduced the Optimus G, the company has aggressively pushed the boundaries of Android handset hardware and software. The G2 can be seen as the successor of the original G, and it comes only six month after the LG Optimus G Pro, which is a large-display (5.5”) handset. With a display size of 5.2”, the LG G2 places itself somewhere between the Optimus G and the G Pro, and comes with a powerful Snapdragon 800 processor which is anywhere between 25% to 50% faster than the previous Snapdragon 600, depending on which benchmark you look at.
