Moto X’s Successor To Arrive Late Summer

Moto Xs Successor To Arrive Late SummerWhen the Moto X was first launched, many praised it for its innovative features along with the fact that it would be a highly customizable device. That being said, the Moto X did not pack the most powerful hardware which was a little odd given that the handset could be considered a flagship device for Motorola.

We’re also sure many are wondering what will happen to the Moto X series in the future once Lenovo completes their acquisition of the company. Well the good news is that Moto X fans will be pleased to learn that there will be at least one more Moto X that will see a release this year, but beyond that we cannot be sure. (more…)

A lot of Android device owners around the world have been waiting for the latest iteration of Google’s mobile operating system to become available for their devices. Unfortunately, the update process isn’t quite simple on Android. Your Phone Breaks Because It Would Rather Be Thin Than Strong

Your Phone Breaks Because It Would Rather Be Thin Than Strong

It’s actually not the choice of materials alone that makes a handset more or less prone to damage — screen breakage in particular. It’s the structural design in general. It’s what’s beneath that candy-colored shell that really counts.

Moto X Deal Gets Extended Till February 22nd

Moto X Deal Gets Extended Till February 22nd

First launched back in August 2013, the Moto X was Motorola’s first flagship smartphone under Google’s banner. The smartphone was very well received, given that it offered impressive specifications at a reasonable price. Over the holiday season, Motorola launched a Moto X deal that cut the price of the off contract variant significantly. Due to consumer interest, Motorola then offered the same deal a fortnight later. Late last month another Moto X deal was offered, with the company slashing $70 off the off contract variant. Motorola has now confirmed that said deal has been extended till February 22nd.

Android 4.4.2 For US Cellular Moto X Could Be Released Soon

Android 4.4.2 For US Cellular Moto X Could Be Released SoonLast we heard, Android 4.4.2 is said to be making its way onto T-Mobile’s Moto X in the near future, and if you’re wondering how soon is that, perhaps the next couple of days could be it. This new rumor is according to an anonymous US Cellular representative who claims that the carrier is ready to push out Android 4.4.2 KitKit to its own Moto X handsets in the US. Of course given that this roll out is for US Cellular customers only, we can’t speak for the availability of Android 4.4.2 KitKat for other carriers, but presumably they should be rolling out, at least that’s what the rumors seem to suggest.

Those of you who own a US Cellular Moto X, you will be able to check for the updates by going to your phone’s Settings, About Device, and Check for Updates to scan manually to see if there are any updates to be had. Of course we expect the updates will be rolled out in phases so even if your friend gets theirs first, don’t worry as we expect that yours should not be too far behind. In any case we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the US Cellular Moto X, but in the meantime take it with a grain of salt for now and try not to get your hopes up just yet.
