MWC is here us and we’re sure many are looking forward to seeing the latest and most high-end handsets make their debut. After all who doesn’t love to see what kind of powerful hardware manufacturers can pack into phones these days, right? However as much as we’d like to see the best of the best smartphones, more often than not manufacturers need to cater to those on a budget or who might not necessarily need the best phone money can buy, but at the same time offer up a phone that is value for money. It is fair to say that the Sony XPERIA phone is the handset that marked Sony’s come back into the mobile phone scene, and it is only logical that the XPERIA Z2 was rather anticipated by Sony’s followers, but also by the industry at large. At Mobile World Congress, Sony puts an end to the rumors, and reveals the official specifications and design of its new high-end Android smartphone.
One of the best-looking Android tablet is getting a significant upgrade: at Mobile World Congress, Sony is releasing the XPERIA Z2 Tablet, with a new design that improves just about everything about the Z Tablet line. First of all, the guts are much more impressive with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor (2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM) and integrated 4G LTE (there is a WiFi-only version too).

The chip industry has talked about the computerization of cars forever, and it looks like this is going to (finally) happen within the next few years. The mobile revolution has mass-produced the technology required for it, and the various app ecosystem have made the car industry realize that non-critical software does not require “years” of tests before deployment in a vehicle. Qualcomm had previously announced a Qualcomm 602A chip that is dedicated to automobiles, and today, the Gobi 9×30 modem will bring the latest LTE performance and capabilities to the car industry. 
If you are following the mobile news today (and it looks like you are…), you will see that a number of new devices are being released with a Snapdragon 801 chip. At first, I was wondering if they were referring to the rumored Snapdragon 810, but after asking around, we got confirmation that it is indeed Snapdragon 801. Right now there is not much public technical information going around but here is what we know for sure:
