While Samsung rarely confirms that it has indeed done something like this, there have been multiple reports in the past of the company showing off next generation technology to a select group of journalists and analysts behind closed doors at major events. Take CES 2014 for example, it was rumored that Samsung secretly showed off its foldable phone displays in a suite somewhere when the world’s largest consumer electronics show was in full swing. Reports coming in from Korea suggest that the company might give a glimpse of its bendable tablet in similar fashion at Mobile World Congress 2014.

With each passing day more and more information has started trickling in about Samsung’s next generation flagship, regardless of the fact that all of it comes in from unofficial sources. In just four days the Galaxy S5 is going to be unveiled at the company’s Unpacked 5 event, which takes place on February 24th as part of one of the industry’s largest events, Mobile World Congress 2014. The latest rumor claims that this smartphone will have a dedicated “Kids Mode,” which will essentially lock certain features, so when the device is in kids’ hands, they don’t wreak havoc on your life.

Smartwatches are nifty little wearable devices, and while consumers aren’t exactly picking them up like hot cakes, there appears to be a significant amount of interest in the evolution of this technology. At this point in time, these devices are primarily used to displaying notifications or handling calls. Navigation is one such area where smartwatches can be of use. Even though Samsung is slated to formally unveil Galaxy S5 in just a couple of days, there still is no word on when this hotly anticipated smartphone is actually going to hit the market. The announcement will be made at the company’s Unpacked 5 event, which has been scheduled for February 24th, the first day of Mobile World Congress 2014, one of the year’s biggest industry related events. A new rumor suggests that the Galaxy S5 release could take place within three weeks of the announcement, presumably around mid-March.
