Here’s the newest addition to NEC’s LCD monitor line-up, the MultiSync LCD-X554UNS. Aimed at business users, this 55-inch monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 3500:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Connectivity-wise, it comes with D-Sub, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, RS-232C and RJ-45 10/100BASE-T. The MultiSync LCD-X554UNS will start shipping from May 12th for unannounced price yet. [NEC]
NEC is preparing to ship their latest DLP projector, the NP-M402WJD. As part of the BEAULIGHT series, this energy-efficient projector (consumes just 258W in Eco 2 mode or 0.2W in standby mode) supports a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and provides 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and up to 8,000 hours of lamp life (Eco 2 mode). It also comes with a built-in 20W monaural speaker and has a number of connectivity ports including D-Sub, RCA, 2x HDMI, Stereo Mini Jack, 3x USB and Gigabit LAN. Designed specially for the demanding needs of healthcare professionals in medical imaging and PACS, this new 30-inch IPS GB-R LED-backlight monitor provides 2560 x 1600 (4MP) native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 340 cd/m2 brightness, 7ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and has 3-port USB 2.0 hub, DVI-D, HDMI, mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort connectors. It also comes with an adjustable stand, built-in speakers, a D-Sub port, a DVI-D port, an HDMI port and a 3-port USB 3.0 hub (1x up, 2x down). NEC has begun shipping their newest digital cinema projector ‘NC1100L’. Adopting the DLP display technology, this 3D-ready laser-based projector supports a native resolution of 2048 x 1080 pixels (2K) and provides 1750:1 contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 20,000 hours of laser lamp life.
