Following a recent across the board price drop to $100, Amazon is taking another 40 dollars off the price of the Moto X for AT&T subscribers, and $50 off for Verizon users. This the best Android phone for most people, and even if you’re enamored by today’s reveal of the Nexus 5, this is quite a bit cheaper.
Attention Pokémon X & Y players! Avoid saving in Lumiose City! Nintendo has officially acknowledged a bug in the two new Nintendo 3DS games. The bug may occur if you save in the outermost circular road (see image below) in Lumiose City and then power off your 3DS or 2DS. The result is nothing less than a permanently corrupted save file.
Skip to about 1:20 in YouTuber NerdCubed’s video below to see the bug in action. And the game in inaction.
If your save file was corrupted this way, you can either just restart the game or wait for Nintendo’s remedy, which will be an application that will be available from the eShop. The company didn’t say when they will release it though. There are a couple of unofficial tips to fix the bug, but don’t take my word for these. The first one is to load your save file, then press the “Home” button repeatedly as the screen turns black and music starts to play. The second unofficial remedy is to remove your SD card from your Nintendo 3DS, then boot up the game without the card. Again, those are unofficial methods, but I think they’re safe enough to try on your own.

It has been a long time coming but Nintendo has finally announced this week that the 3DS portable game console has access to streaming service Hulu Plus. I say Hulu Plus finally comes to the Nintendo 3DS because way back in October of 2011 was the first time we heard Hulu Plus was coming to […]
Hulu Plus Lands On The Nintendo 3DS
Posted in: Today's ChiliHulu, one of three big reasons why you should probably cut the cable soon, has today announced that it will provide access to its library of streamable TV shows and movies to Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, and Nintendo 2DS owners.
According to the official blog post, Hulu and Nintendo worked together to provide a solid experience across the various handheld gaming devices, one that “takes advantage of the systems’ dual screen option.
This means that users can be viewing Hulu content on the top screen while browsing through content options on the bottom screen. And where browsing is concerned, Hulu ensures that it’s the same user experience Huluers have grown accustomed to, with trays for each category of content including recommendations.
Moreover, Hulu users who have both the Nintendo 3DS and a Nintendo Wii or Wii U are in luck. Hulu has built out the 3DS app to automatically swap a show from the Wii to the Nintendo 3DS as you leave the house. Clever.
The Hulu app on 3DS also comes with a feature called Smart Play, which lets you instantly resume the last episode you were watching on any device from a single button.
Finally, Hulu has implemented a Kids Lock on the 3DS app that only lets users surf content from Hulu’s kid’s section, which is pretty important considering the demographic of Nintendo 3DS and 2DS users.
As with any new sign-up on Hulu, you’ll get a one-week free trial here.
Hulu Plus has been making itself available across as many platforms as rival video streaming service Netflix has as it has an application on video game consoles, smart TVs and set-top media streaming boxes. Hulu is adding yet another platform where it can spread its content to, and this time, it’s headed to one of the most popular handheld gaming platforms around, the Nintendo 3DS. (more…)

We’ve been keeping a close eye as to who gets added to the roster for Nintendo’s upcoming brawler, Super Smash Bros. Nintendo announced Captain Olimar, Luigi and Princess Peach would be added to the mix, and today, Toon Link has been confirmed.
There really was no better time to announce Toon Link to be headed to Super Smash Bros. as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD was just released on the Nintendo eShop as well as a part of a special Wii U bundle this past week. The announcement was made by Nintendo’s official Super Smash Bros. website, which includes a bevy of Toon Link related images that show him in action as he fights Mario, Pitt and apparently gets fondled by Princess Peach. If you’re an owner of both the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, you’re probably aware both devices don’t sync up to a unified Nintendo ID. This can make syncing up content on both devices a pain in the keister, although there aren’t many games that offer this sort of functionality. Many Wii U and 3DS owners have been wanting unified accounts on both system for quite some time, and Nintendo of America’s Dan Adelman is finally responding to customer feedback. (more…)
