For those who have been keeping an eye on the Lumia 1520, Microsoft has opened up pre-orders of the device starting today, with devices ordered today expected to arrive on November 15, as long as you’ve got $199 and are cool with signing a two-year contract with AT&T. Nokia is expected to unveil the successor to its popular Lumia 520 in the near future. Over the past couple of weeks we have been consistently hearing rumors about the Nokia Lumia 525, the smartphone that was initially expected to be announced at Nokia World 2013 last month. This device, apparently codenamed “Glee,” is said to be music centric. Earlier today the purported specification list of the Lumia 525 was leaked, and now we get to a picture that shows it off in all its glory. The picture comes from trusty Twitter leaker @evleaks, who is known for his outstanding track record.

Lumia 525 is said to come with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4 inch 800×480 IPS LCD display, 5 megapixel rear camera capable of 720p video recording at 30fps, 1,430mAh battery, 8GB onboard storage with option for external expansion up to 64GB. No word as yet on pricing and availability, the smartphone will presumably be announced within the next few weeks. Only recently Nokia confirmed the Lumia 525′s existence on its website, so it may only be a matter of time before the company makes an announcement. Nokia Lumia 525 will seek to build up on the enormous success that its predecessor, the Lumia 520, has garnered particularly in developing markets.

Two independent sources— Evleaks and Verge—are reporting that Nokia is in the process of preparing a second, smaller Windows-based Lumia tablet, which might be available next year.

Nokia finally jumped into the tablet game when it announced the Windows RT 8.1 powered Nokia Lumia 2520 last month. The tablet has a 10 inch display and packs quite a powerful package under the hood, and while it is yet to be released, rumors have already started circulating about Nokia working on another tablet. This one is apparently codenamed “Illusionist,” and is said to have an 8 inch display.

Trusty Twitter leaker @evleaks is behind the first rumor of Nokia’s “Illusionist” Windows RT 8.1 powered tablet. This source has a pretty solid track record when it comes to these things, he was also one of the few who consistently leaked information about the Lumia 2520. Unfortunately, not much has been revealed about this 8 inch tablet as yet. There is no information about specifications or no leaked image at this point in time, but if Nokia really is working on said tablet, then we’re bound to hear about it in the future. It is too soon to say right now when Nokia plans on releasing the “Illusionist,” its final moniker will obviously be different, will it wait until its acquisition by Microsoft is complete or would it release the tablet into the market before that happens? Time will tell.

Prior to Nokia World 2013, we heard rumors that apart from the Lumia 1520, Nokia might also announce the Lumia 929. The smartphone was said to have a 5 inch 1,920×1,080 display and it was said to be a Verizon exclusive. Nokia didn’t announce the device at the event though, it is still not known when the Lumia 929 is going to be made official. We’ve seen the device in leaked pictures and even a video since then, but now it has been leaked in all its glory, seeing as how the folks at WPCentral have got their hands on high quality photos of an actual unit.

It is not known when the Verizon Lumia 929 is going to be released, rumor has it that might be released either around Thanksgiving or early next year. Its specifications have also been leaked, basically most of what was rumored before has been reiterated. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quadcore processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, 20 megapixel PureView rear camera, dual LED flash, Qi wireless charging and a number of Verizon exclusive apps. The Lumia 929 is said to come in glossy white and matte black. Dimensions are said to be 136.5mm x 71.4mm x 10.5mm and it weighs in at 166g. Nokia Lumia 929 will be compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
