NVIDIA 800M-Series Laptop GPUs
Posted in: Today's ChiliNVIDIA is updating its laptop GPUs with four new products named GTX 850M, 860M, 870M and 880M. They are all part of a performance and features refresh from NVIDIA. The naming doesn’t make it clear, but the 800M Series uses two different generations of NVIDIA architectures. The high-end GTX 880M and GTX 870M are built on the Kepler architecture which has been on the market for some time, while the mid-range 850M and 860M are based on the new Maxwell architecture which has been recently featured in the desktop GeForce GTX 750 Ti product. Tegra 4i Phone: Wiko WAX
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe Wiko WAX is a European (French) smartphone that is the first Tegra 4i powered handset on the continent. The just launched here at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. As expected, the WAX is a mid-range handset that is exactly what Tegra 4i was built for. It features a 4.7” display (720p), a 8 Megapixel Camera and a relatively plain design.
In some ways this is quite representative of the affordable no-brand phone that are starting to pop worldwide and these new players are having a very tough time to differentiate their phones from the myriad of others in an extremely competitive market. (more…)
