Panasonic’s ST/VT/ZT plasmas are the best televisions on the market, and they won’t be on the market much longer
Back in March, news surfaced that Panasonic would be pulling out of the plasma TV business, something that was substantiated by sources who spoke to Reuters back in October. In line with its efforts to cut down on businesses that prove unprofitable, the company will be making some drastic changes to its digital camera division […]

Back in September during CEATEC 2013, Panasonic unveiled their 4K tablet dubbed the Toughpad UT-MB5. The device was a Windows-powered tablet and would come with a price tag of $5,999, already suggesting that this is definitely not the tablet that most of us would expect to see under our Christmas trees, unless of course we worked in an industry where such a tablet might be in demand. In any case for those who are interested in getting their hands on the device, Panasonic has announced that the tablet is expected to go on sale starting in January and will most likely be picked up by professionals such as photographers or architects who might appreciate the large display and high-resolution.
So what will you be getting for $5,999? For those who missed our CEATEC coverage, the Panasonic Toughpad UT-MB5 will feature a 20” display with a 4K UHD display resolution. It will also be powered by an Intel processor clocked at 1.9GHz, with 256GB of SSD storage, 8GB of RAM, a USB 3.0 port, an SD card slot, and a smart card reader. It basically sounds like you’d be lugging around a monitor with you all day long. In any case give the tablet’s hardware specs, not to mention the 4K display, don’t expect stellar battery life as Panasonic estimates about 2 hours of use before its battery is depleted. For more information about the tablet, you can check it out in Panasonic’s video above.

As a bearded American, being able to keep my facial hair neat and trim is one of my first priorities, right behind wondering if there’s any Twinkies residue left in my beard from the night before. When I trim my facial hair, leaving behind stubble is something I certainly don’t want as it’ll certainly ruin the looking I’m going for. That’s why I think I need a Panasonic ES-LV65-S in my life as not only does it have five blades to help trim facial hair, but it also has a built-in sensor that can detect the density of stubble hair, which it can then automatically adjust its motor’s speed so its blades can cut through facial hair easier. Panasonic Officially Bowing Out From Plasma Display Market original content from Ubergizmo.
In the competitive electric razor market it’s more than just the number of blades that makes one model better than another. For example, Panasonic’s new ES-LV65-S packs a five-blade cutting system, but that’s not why those of us with impossibly thick beards will want one. The razor’s also got a built-in sensor that detects the density of stubble on your face and automatically adjusts the motor’s speed so the blades easily hack their way through.
