Earlier today, news started circulating involving some early PlayStation 4 consoles reportedly experiencing bricking issues. According to a number of early PlayStation 4 owners, their console pulsates a blue light and is unable to do anything else, although a rather involved fix has been found to help alleviate the issue. As a result of these reports, Sony is proactively looking into these hardware issues. (more…)

Sony announced last month the PlayStation 4 would require a day one patch that would be required in order to install many of the console’s features. The day one patch was expected to become available on the launch of the PlayStation 4, which is November 15, but Sony pulled the switch early and has released the console’s patch for those lucky enough to own a next-generation console prior to its official release.
