Are you a fan of The Walking Dead series, whether it is the comic, the TV mini series, or the game? Well, if you have a love for all things undead, then you might be pleased to hear that The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition has been spotted on a GameStop listing.
This particular listing points to a June 17 launch later this summer on the PlayStation platform by GameStop, and any other details remain scant where the product is concerned. However, using Sherlock Holmes’ art of deduction, one will be able to figure out that The Walking Dead PS4 will arrive with the entire first season, in addition to the bonus episode of 400 Days, at least according to the box art.
It remains to be seen whether this is an official title that will be hitting the PS4 as TellTale has yet to shed any additional light on the situation. Do bear in mind that TellTale did drop hints which would point us in the direction of The Walking Dead arriving on the PS4 and Xbox One previously, so who knows – an official announcement might just be in the pipeline in the days ahead. After all, we have already seen this game on the previous generation of consoles.

The Sony PS4 has certainly been quite the hit so far, having sold a whopping 7 million units worldwide ever since it was released, with its main rival, the Xbox One having shipped 5 million consoles to retailers. Well, do you think that Sony ought to continue with a console after the Sony PS4? It really depends on how the industry works in the future, where it seems that we are moving more and more in the direction of a cloud based service. Imagine streaming games from the cloud instead of purchasing physical copies of a game.

Sony is yet again taking the time to brag about how many PS4 game consoles it has sold. In early March, Sony announced that it had sold 6 million PS4 consoles. Now only about a month and a half later, Sony has racked up another million units sold.
Sony announced that as of April 6, the PS4 had hit 7 million units sold. That number is for cumulative sales around the entire world. Sony says that sales of software for the console also remain strong. So far, there have been 20.5 million games sold globally for the console.
That game sales number counts games bought in retail locations around the world and digital downloads from the PlayStation store through April 13. Sony also says that there have been 135 million shares via the Share button on the controller. There have also been over 4.9 million game play data broadcasts.
Microsoft has yet to counter with their numbers for the Xbox One.
