TARDIS Cat Condo for Peter Ca-Paw-di

I’m surprised that Doctor Who has never had a cat companion. I mean, cats have nine lives and time lords have 13. You would think they would be palling around and having adventures all of the time. At least cats can experience their very own time and space adventure with this TARDIS cat condo.

It is the best cat condo ever! This is the work of Etsy artist MonksHomefurnishings and you can get it for $695(USD). This TARDIS is 47″ tall, 18″ wide, and 19″ deep. According to my calculations, that’s the perfect size for your cat to play in.

Just get your cat a little bow tie and fez and you are done! Et voilà…. looks like Allons-y Kimberly already has taken care of that for you:

Star Wars NFL Helmets: Use Defense Luke!

Check out these football helmets from a galaxy far far away. They look a lot like the ones our players wear, only cooler, with more geek. They look amazing.

Illustrator John Raya created these cool mashups, with designs for all 32 NFL teams. Check them all out here and find your team. Hopefully your team isn’t the Redskins though. You got stuck with Jar Jar.

I wish this league really existed. I would love to see Star Wars characters battle each other on the field. Blasters and lightsabers are legal. Then again, I saw that once on Naboo and that didn’t turn out so well. This would be better. I think.

AT-AT Rocking Horse: for Imperial Troops in Training

Rocking horses are so last century. Let your child rock with the might of the Empire with this Rocking AT-AT. How do you think General Veers got started? Start them young and they will pilot the Empire’s best vehicles and crush the rebellion.

Jen from EPBOT, along with her husband, are making this cute rocking AT-AT. The couple started with a template and cut over 40 pieces out of fiber board. The picture above is of their test assembly. It isn’t finished yet. They have to make sure it’s safe to ride and add paint, probably outfit it with some new Snowspeeder defenses. It looks amazing already.

It sure would look great alongside a tauntaun rocking horse.

Klingon Valentine’s Day Cards: Perhaps Today is Good Day to Write

Klingon love isn’t just about fighting each other with bat’leths and breaking bones in the bedroom. It has a sweet side too. Although it is mostly violence and growling.

klingon valentine 620x523magnify

Some of them actually exchange Valentine’s Day cards though. Like these, that NeatoShop artist Matt Wiley has created. These Valentine’s Day Cards feature Klingon-worthy phrases of love, like “Love is a battlefield / And we will love victoriously,” “You stole my heart / I would have given you mine. I have two,” and “The empire doesn’t seem as mighty without you / Will you fight by my side?”

With these cards you can be sure that you and your mate will love for a lifetime and enter Sto-Vo-Kor together in death. Qapla’!

Star Trek Deep Space Nine Clock: Tell Time in the Alpha Quadrant

I’m a big fan of Star Trek, but I actually must admit I only watched a few episodes of Deep Space Nine. I think I was too busy watching The Next Generation and Voyager at the time, and that was enough for me. But even if I’m no expert at DS9, I can certainly recognize their space station in an instant.

If you’re a big fan of Captain Sisko and his crew, you might just want to decorate your room with this Deep Space Nine wall clock.

The clock started out as a rare Star Trek toy, and was converted into a clock by Etsy seller YOUgNeek. The underlying clock mechanism is a Sterling and Noble clock, with silver hands that match the painted ship perfectly. Unfortunately, you have to try and read the clock hands behind the ship – I was really hoping the entire ship turned to form the hands of the clock.

Either way, it’s a pretty cool addition to any DS9 fanatic’s collection. It’s available for $199.99(USD) over on Etsy. Perhaps you trade some dilithium crystals with Quark and he’ll sell you one.

Geeky Heroes Boiled Down to Basic Blocks

Artist Adam Lister creates awesome watercolor paintings of iconic pop culture figures using rudimentary block shapes. The most meta of his images has to be the watercolor of Bob Ross – though I’m having a hard time making out any happy little trees.

Despite their apparent simplicity, each image clearly conveys its subjects, while giving them a sort of 16-bit pixelated sensibility to them. He’s done versions of Darth Vader, Superman, Boba Fett, Batman and Robin, Iron Man, and even Forrest Gump. But my personal favorite is Kirk and Spock:

Star Wars Chocolate Centerpiece: The Dessert that Made the Kessel Run in 12 Parsecs

As cool as this Star Wars centerpiece is, I have to be honest. The texture of that chocolate looks a bit off-putting. At first I thought that the Falcon was trapped in an Imperial turd trap of some kind. Anyway, despite the unfortunately lumpy look of the chocolate, it is a cool piece.
star wars centerpiece 620x936magnify

Besides, chocolate never looks so bad that you won’t eat it right? This edible centerpiece was made by Cakes Cove. It has X-Wing Fighters on it too. I don’t what they are doing flying around this thing, but I’m sure it looked good on the center of the table.  It needs some TIE Fighters though. Give those rebels something to shoot at.

You’re all clear, kid! Now let’s eat this thing and go home!

Half TARDIS, Half Dalek Dress Is All Awesome

Can’t decide whether you want a TARDIS dress or a Dalek Dress? Why not have both? This neat dress mashes up both. It’s like the TARDIS collided with a Dalek and now they share the same space.
tardis dalek dressmagnify

This corset dress was designed by cosplayer Bewitched Raven and it is beautiful. It’s got a Dalek on one side and the TARDIS on the other side. The Doctor really should have fixed the de-materialization circuit. This is what can happen.

tardis dalek dress2

This dress has a ton of nice detail, like the single door handle on the TARDIS side, and the matching headpieces. It all comes together perfectly. Great job! How about a Cyberman mashed up with Dalek now? That would be awesome.
