We’ve seen plenty of video games being turned into movies, with the latest title being Need for Speed. Are they always good efforts? Some yes, some no, but what do you guys think of a Sonic the Hedgehog movie?
According to a rumor from The Tracking Board, apparently Columbia Pictures is interested in creating a Sonic the Hedgehog movie, and if you were thinking of something bright, colorful, and comedic, you might be in for a surprise. (more…)

Fans of classic SEGA games will want to start saving up their Yen now, as there are some amazing new T-shirts on the way from Japan that you’ll want hanging in your closets.
The shirts, made by Geek Life are based on classic games including Space Harrier, Altered Beast and Galaxy Force II, and are covered with large, detailed artwork which just looks amazing.
The shirts even feature tags on the back based on the original game logos.
Geek Life says that more designs will be released down the road, and the initial designs will be available this April, selling for ¥6,000 (~$59 USD) each.

If you’re a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Sonic franchise, you’ve probably heard that there will be a new Sonic game that will be released later this year. The title is called Sonic Boom and it will be the third and final Sega game that will be an exclusive to Nintendo.
Sure the game will be naturally getting an upgrade in graphics, as is the case with most new games, but if you have been playing Sonic games for many years and you’ve even followed the cartoon back in the day, you’ll notice that Sonic Booms’ Sonic looks a little different from the past.
Based on feedback spotted around the internet, not everyone is a fan of the new design, but gamers can rest assured that it could have been much, much worse. (more…)
