Did you like the Xperiance Sony was selling at IFA 2012? If you answered yes, are in need of a new Android tablet and happen to live across the pond, the time has come to place your orders. Available now on the Japanese electronics giant’s UK site (sorry, statesiders), the newly outed Tablet S is ready to ship in three configurations: 16GB / 32GB WiFi-only models that’ll set you back £329 and £379 (about $523 and $602), respectively and a lone 16GB 3G variant that goes for £429 (about $682). For the money, you’re getting a quad-core Tegra 3 slate clocked at 1.3GHz, a 1280 x 800 WXGA display, Ice Cream Sandwich and the company’s signature hardware styling. Of course, if you’re outside of the Euro zone and can’t wait for pre-orders to be fulfilled, there’s no harm in making this your next import. Remember that $2,995 Blackmagic Cinema Camera that shoots full-res 21:9 16:9 video? It’s now hitting shelves, or maybe we should say “a shelf,” because the initial shipment was “rather small,” according to the company. The arrival date was pushed back earlier, and now the 2.5k, 12-bit RAW, sub-four-thirds video camera won’t roll out in volume until the “parts supply ramps up.” Meanwhile, B&H got a handful along with several other dealers, but if you just decided to order one for tomorrow’s shoot, you may wanna cool your ardor — there’s quite a back order to get through, first.

The latest addition to Cowon’s line of portable media players is reaching consumers’ hands in the good, old US of A as shipping is now underway for the X9. The PMP — which comes in either black or white — measures 72.5mm wide, 114.9mm tall and weighs in at 159 grams. It also features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, your choice of either 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of internal flash memory, as well as a MicroSD slot. Although good sound quality is typically Cowon’s calling card, the X9 also serves up a healthy helping of battery life with the company claiming up to 110 hours of music playback. Operating time when watching video is said to be up to 13 hours while charging time takes 4.5 hours via AC adapter and 6 hours when juicing through a USB connection. Supported file formats include MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE, WAV, XviD, WMV and ASF. Unlike the Plenue Z2 and the D3, the X9 opts out of using the Android OS — which is either good or bad depending on one’s preferences. Its 480 x 272 resolution is also decidedly lower than, say, the 800 x 480 seen in the Z2’s 3.7-inch screen. I think I’m like most people out there in that I like shopping online, but I hate waiting for stuff to show up. Shipping takes too long and more often than not, many places don’t ship the same day you place the order, and express shipping can really add up. eBay has a new iPhone application that has launched in beta called eBay Now. This app takes online shopping to the next level with cheap same-day delivery.

EBay now has six featured stores including Macy’s, Toys “R” Us, Target, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Best Buy. The beta is currently by invitation in the San Francisco area. All stores that are partnered with the app are participating for San Francisco residents between 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and from 9 AM to 6 PM on Sundays.

The way the app works is that users go to one of the participating stores, find the product they want, and then pay for it and enter the delivery address. The coolest part is the delivery address can be home, office, or the bar down the street. According to eBay Now, many items will be delivered to you within the hour, and up to 30 minutes from the close of each store. Beta users get $15 off their first eBay Now order and free shipping on their first three orders. After those first three orders, the delivery fee is five dollars, which is still a bargain for same day delivery.
