Xperia Z2 Launch Delay Could Be Due To Supplier Issues (Rumor)

Xperia Z2 Launch Delay Could Be Due To Supplier Issues (Rumor)The Sony Xperia Z2 which we did spend some time with at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, is back in the spotlight again. The Esato forum has shown itself to be a credible source of Sony-related info previously, so a grain of salt would make do this time around.

Sony To Make The Last Of Us Movie A Reality

Sony To Make The Last Of Us Movie A RealityRemember back in late 2013 where Sony registered a domain for “thelastofusmovie.net”? It led to speculation that Sony might be interested in turning the game into an actual movie, which would not be a bad idea since the game does have a pretty good storyline to begin with.

Sony Acknowledges A7 & A7r Light Leak Issue

Sony Acknowledges A7 & A7r Light Leak IssueBack in October 2013, Sony officially announced a couple of new cameras in the form of the Sony A7 and the A7r. What made these cameras so unique is that they not only use Sony’s E-mount lenses, but they’re compact, and they also came with full-frame sensors, truly making this a unique device and one for the professional who wanted something a little more portable.

However it seems that not too long after the launch of the camera that A7 and A7r users started to complain that their cameras experienced light leaks around the lens mount area. According to New Camera, one of the ways to test if your camera is experiencing light leaks is to put on the lens cap, shine a flash light around the lens mount, and snap a photo. (more…)

PS4′s Second Week In Japan Apparently Not Too Spectacular

PS4s Second Week In Japan Apparently Not Too Spectacular

It took Sony a few months to bring its latest gaming console to its home turf, Japan, and one would have thought that it would do spectacularly well there. It did, sort of, selling over 300,000 units during the launch weekend. However, if a new report from Media Create is to be believed, the console’s second week in Japan hasn’t been that spectacular. Sales have apparently dropped down to 65,685 units, the figures reflect sales between February 24th and March 2nd. Some media outlets cite supply constraints as the reason, while some believe that the honeymoon period is simply over.
