Just when you thought that the design for wireless Bluetooth speakers could not get any more generic, here we are with an offering from the folks over at 420 Audio – with their spanking new High-Fi Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. Just in case you were wondering, 4/20 happens to be the holiday that cannabis enthusiasts have been waiting to celebrate across the country on April 20th. This would mean the unique design of the High-Fi speaker flows with the celebration, where the form factor itself expresses your affinity for the green goodness.
The High-Fi Wireless Bluetooth Speaker will hook up to compatible smartphones as well as tablets using Bluetooth connectivity, and the best part of it? It will be legal in all 50 states, so there is no need to worry about having the authorities in place bashing down your door because you happen to be in possession of illegal substances.
The High-Fi Wireless Bluetooth Speaker will be able to transform any moment into a high time, letting you kick back and connect with those around you. The speaker itself will be tiny in size, small enough to pack away in your stash box, letting you pull it out in double quick time so that you can add your favorite jams to any smoke session. I am quite sure that those of us who are on a rather tight budget and would love to maximize the value of our money would have heard of the brand Edifier before when it comes to audio systems. This time around, the folks over at Edifier have released its latest 5.1 multimedia system that is known as the S550 Encore. The Edifier S550 Encore claims to take audio to the next level, where it will boast of a couple of 10” super bass drivers that are capable of delivering 120 Watts each, resulting in ground shaking audio that your ears and invited friends to your party would definitely appreciate.
When you merge that with the 60 Watts from each of the 5 satellites, then the Edifier S550 Encore would end up producing an astonishing 540 Watts of audio output, now how about that? The wired remote comes with a display, where it would enable full control of input selection, volume, bass and treble adjustments, surround channel adjustment in addition to a 6-level volume boost. It does seem as though we are moving slowly but surely in the direction where everything comes together, doesn’t it? I am talking about the world of consumer electronics here. Back in the day, one had to carry a mobile phone to make and receive both calls and text messages, while there is the PDA for us to electronically keep tabs of our appointments and such, with a MP3 player or portable media player to handle our on-the-go entertainment needs, and a digital camera to snap photos for memories in the years ahead. Fast forward to this decade, and a smartphone is able to do all of that, and then some. However, most smartphone speakers aren’t all that great to begin with, which is where the $49.99 Smartphone Induction Speaker comes in.
Basically, the Smartphone Induction Speaker with an alarm clock function will be able to amplify audio playback from your iPhone, Galaxy or other Android smartphone, is fully rechargeable, and does not require any kind of prior setup so that you can get started right away. Not only that, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are not required – all that you need to do is place your smartphone on top of it, and play whatever tunes your ears fancy. Music will be amplified across an entire room, thanks to a pair of high-quality 2-watt speakers and a digital clock with alarm. Nokia has unveiled a new Bluetooth portable speaker that is very small but promises big bass. The speaker is called the Nokia MD-12 and it is about the weight of an apple.
It has an integrated vibrating actuator inside. This technology is able to create low frequency bass sounds when placed on most surfaces. The bass is stronger when the surface is hard, helping to produce low frequencies that you don’t expect from such a small device.
Power for the speaker comes from an internal rechargeable battery good for 15 hours of playback per charge. An integrated mic lets the speaker be used as a speakerphone on the go. If your device lacks Bluetooth, you can connect it via an aux input as well. Nokia also includes NFC tech inside for easy paring with NFC devices. The MS-12 will cost €39 (~$54 USD), and it will come in a variety of bright colors.

Logitech has rolled out a new portable wireless speaker with a playful design. The X100 speaker is able to connect to your smartphone or other device wirelessly using Bluetooth. While it’s small enough to fit in the palm of you hand, Logitech says it “delivers rocking sound” which I have to assume means it’s loud for its size.
The X100 is offered in five color including black, teal, blue, purple, and navy. At least that is what I would call those colors. Power comes from an internal rechargeable battery.
That battery is good for five hours of use per charge. If your device doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can connect it to the speaker using a 3.5mm cable. Wireless range is 30-feet and you can order one for $49.99(USD).
