Mushkin has launched a new line of enterprise SSDs, the ProSpec. Coming in capacities ranging from 100GB to 400GB, these SSDs are equipped with either eMLC or MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2582 controller, a MTBF of 2 million hours and can deliver read/write speeds of up to 555/525 MB/s (100GB), 560/530 MB/s (200GB), 540/460 MB/s (300GB & 400GB), respectively. [CES 2014] Smartphone and tablets have changed the way we carry content. People no longer need to carry around discs full of content, they can simply load up their mobile devices. However, these devices offer a limited amount of storage which often isn’t enough. In that case, portable wireless HDDs come in handy. The new Buffalo MiniStation Air is a bonafide wireless HDD, but it does much more than allowing up to eight devices to access 1TB of storage and stream content to any computer, smart TV or mobile device.
