Rumor: Titanfall To Sport 15 Maps And 5 Modes

Rumor: Titanfall To Sport 15 Maps And 5 ModesTitanfall is definitely not too far away from its March 11 release, but do we know all there is to it where the game is involved? Good thing that there is this particular channel known as the Internet, where it offers a new rumor concerning the kind of maps that the game will come with in addition to tiny “tidbits” that you might be interested in. Of course, rumors remain just that – rumors, until something concrete turns up. A Reddit user who cites an anonymous source claimed that there will be 15 maps in total for Titanfall, with five gaming modes to choose from to boot. The five game modes have been listed to be Attrition, Capture the Flag, Hardpoint Domination, Last Titan Standing, and Pilot Hunter. In Pilot Hunter, teams will duke it out with one another to arrive at a score limit, where each pilot kill will be worth a single point.

Respawn Confirms Titanfall Will Not Run At 1080p

Respawn Confirms Titanfall Will Not Run At 1080pTitanfall is an upcoming game designed for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the PC and will be an exclusive release for Microsoft’s platforms. Given what we’ve seen so far including the hype and anticipation that can be felt, it seems that the game has the potential to become the next big title for Microsoft.

However we heard earlier this week that there was a rumor going around suggesting that the game might not run at Full HD 1080p resolution on the Xbox One. Instead the reports claimed that the game would run at 720p HD instead. Unfortunately it turns out that the rumors were right as it was semi-confirmed by Respawn Entertainment’s own Vince Zampella. Titanfall Could Be Dropping Its Resolution To 720p [Rumor]

Titanfall Could Be Dropping Its Resolution To 720p [Rumor]Titanfall is an upcoming FPS game that will be making its way onto Microsoft’s platforms like Windows and the Xbox. The release of the game is set for the 11th of March for the Xbox One and the bad news for Xbox One gamers is that the final resolution of the game will not be as high as you might think. According to a post on NeoGAF, a certain poster by the name of CBOAT (who has in the past been pretty reliable regarding Microsoft-related leaks) revealed that Titanfall for the Xbox One will only be released at 720p instead of 792p which was the original plan. No word on when Respawn Entertainment decided to drop the resolution towards the end, but for the less discerning gamer, we reckon it probably won’t matter too much.

However for gamers who are really picky about their graphics, perhaps you might notice some slight differences. It is actually quite surprising given that the beta of the game ran fine at 792p, so if we had to guess perhaps there were some last minute issues that might have forced Respawn Entertainment to drop it down to 720p. Either way we reckon gameplay will be more important than graphics. After all why bother with a game that looks good if it doesn’t play well, right? Either way we guess we will have to wait for the game’s release to see if the drop to 720p will make a huge impact. Anyone else disappointed by this?
