Break Me off a Brick of this LEGO Kit Kat Bar

Love LEGO? What about Kit Kat bars? If you love both, you’ll be happy to learn that the marketing team for Nestlé’s Kit Kat candy bar brand has created a custom LEGO set. That’s right, your favorite candy and your favorite toy are now one. All is right with the world.

This set lets users build Kit Kat bars, but that is not all. They hid extra minifigs inside the bars, and even included a bunch of extra designs that they came up with using the same pieces. In other words, it is just like a real LEGO set. And it comes in an official-looking box too.

Unfortunately, the set isn’t available in stores, and was just created as a promotional stunt for the brand.

R/C Jet-Powered Dragon Shoots Flames and Burns Wallets

Dragons are a staple of fiction and are found in books, video games, and movies. The fire-breathing dragon is something that never existed as a real animal, but you can have your very own flying dragon.

After seeing Rick Hamel’s amazing remote-controlled dragonHammacher Schlemmer is now offering it for you to purchase.

fire breathing rc dragon 1 620x461magnify

This dragon can do more than fly, it can shoot 3-foot flames out of its mouth. That can’t be legal. The flying dragon has a 9-foot wingspan and can fly at up to 70 mph. Power comes from a tiny turbine engine and the dragon is controlled by a 2.4GHz radio. The flame that shoots from its mouth is made using a propane tank. At least the propane tank can’t shoot flames while the dragon is flying. The flames are only for the ground.

I can only imagine the fiery explosion that will result from a high-speed crash of this thing. If you have $60,000 lying around, the flying, flame-breathing dragon can be yours.

Remember that AT-AT rocking horse that we all wanted, even though it wasn’t even painted or detailed? Well, now it is finished. Behold the rocking horse for young Imperial forces in training.

This was one of the coolest kids toys we had seen in some time and now that it is finished, it looks even cooler and we want one. Cakewrecks and EPBOT creator Jen Yates has finally finished this masterpiece and it has all the right details.

She added a seat back and an extra sturdy T-bar handle for safety, along with some extra-long bumpers on the bottom rails to prevent it from rocking too far. To quote Vader, “Most impressive!”

This sweet kart is due out later this year. It looks pretty awesome. Plus it also makes several power-up/weapon sound effects. Cool. Bring plenty of bananas and turtle shells. It’s gonna be a wild ride.

Hopefully you can fit your big butt on this, because it is targeted primarily at kids after all. Leaner adults should have no problem taking it for a spin though.

These guys really should get together with the guys at Razor though:

Radio-Controlled Mops, Trash Cans Let You Clean From the Couch

Even a lazy, couch-bound weekend watching House of Cards requires some amount of sanitary effort. Those soda puddles, empty ice-cream containers, and various tetanus hazards can’t dispose of themselves, right? Right — unless of course you have a fleet of …

Street-legal Cozy Coupe Doesn’t Look too Cozy

When my son was really small I probably pushed him 1000 miles in his red and yellow Little Tykes Cozy Coupe. I also flopped over the top of that little car a few times when the front wheels randomly stopped working at speed. If you have fond memories of these little toy cars, you might want to check out the street-legal version you can ride in now that you are grown up.

The car was made by a guy named John Bitmead. The builder says that he spent 1000 hours and about £4,000 (~$6m500 USD) on the project. The car started out as a Daewoo Matiz, has an 800cc engine inside of it and is street legal. It has a top speed of 70mph.

I don’t see how this thing can actually be street legal. I wouldn’t want to be in an accident in this thing, even though it has airbags. Check out the videos to see the car in action.

Power Generating Soccket Soccer Ball Now Available

Last year we talked a bit about the Soccket soccer ball, or football depending on where you are from, when it turned up on Kickstarter. At the time a pledge of $89 would get you one. If you missed the Kickstarter campaign and want to get your hands on one of the power generating balls, you now can.

socckettbmagnify

It uses tech inside the ball that captures and stores electricity when the ball is kicked around. It’s designed primarily for use in developing nations which have limited access to electricity, and can provide three hours of light after 30 minutes of play, using the flexible LED lamp included with each ball.

The power captured by the generator inside is stored in a battery pack. If you don’t need a light, the power can be used to charge a smartphone. Keep in mind that its USB jack offers only 6W so it’s not enough for most tablets.

The Soccket ball is now available to purchase for $99(USD).

3D Printed Sad Keanu is Anything But Sad for the People Who Buy One

Keanu Reeves is one of the many celebrities who have been turned into a meme. The Sad Keanu meme came to be a couple of years back after someone snapped a picture of Keanu sitting alone on a park bench, looking particularly downcast. While Keanu explained that he’s not sad or depressed, the meme lives on.

And now it lives on in another form: a 3D printed figurine.
