Cat Fighter: Feline vs. Feline

When cats fight, it’s best that you steer clear and let them resolve the issue themselves. I don’t know about you, but I’m not too eager to step in between a cat fight, especially when the claws are out.

The Pet Collective put a pretty interesting twist to cat fights that you will no doubt find amusing, and it’s called Cat Fighter.

Cat Fighter

It’s a catty parody of the video game Street Fighter, and it’s excellently done, if you ask me. Instead of Ken and Ryu, we’ve got Ren and Kyu (see what they did there?) They’ve got nothing but their claws and sheer ferocity to fight their battles with.

Ken and Ryu rivalry is re-imagined on a feline level. See these Kittens hash it out in some retro SNES fashion.

Most cats probably can’t do the high jumps and backflips that you see Ren and Kyu doing, but hey, this is a parody after all.

On a side note, I find it extremely amusing to see a 5-Year Q&A journal in the center of the fighting arena, since I have the exact same one on my desk right now. Maybe I can host my own Cat Fighter tournament here when my sister visits and brings her kitties with her next week, eh?

The success of YouTube alone is testament to this growing trend.

Google Says Potayto, Bing Says Potahto, But Who’s Better At Search In Topeka?

Google Says Potayto, Bing Says Potahto, But Whose Search Is Better In Topeka, Kansas?”Topeka’ is the Indian word for "a good place to grow potatoes."
And even though the wheat and corn crops grow in greater abundance
today, two Internet search engines view the potential of this
122,000-person-town as two very different type of spuds. While one
treats it like "small potatoes," the other likens it to "potatoes au
gratin," or a great side dish to whet one’s appetite.

Thor Prances for Our Amusement

Sometimes Thor does things that have others shaking their heads. Like his father, for instance. But other people’s approval or disapproval don’t really sway him from what he eventually chooses to do.

Like prance, for instance.

thor prancercise

Not that this is the real Thor, of course, because the closest thing you can come to a “real Thor” is Chris Hemsworth and I don’t think he’ll be prancing around in costume anytime soon.

The secrets of Thor’s workout routine is revealed by YouTuber EveryDayThor, who was clearly inspired by Joanna Rohrback’s epic Prancercise video. It’s pretty funny, so if you’re bored and looking for something to kill the next two minutes, then check the clip out below.

Don’t Drive and Drive: This PSA Will Scare You into Sobriety

A good PSA leaves a lasting impression and makes the person watching it choose to follow what’s being advised in the announcement. An excellent PSA, on the other hand, manages to do that and go viral as well.

Guess which descriptor best fits this PSA on drunk driving that was made by London’s Department of Transportation.

Anti Drunk Driving PSA

So many people lose their lives because of drunk driving, whether they’re the ones behind the wheel or the ones out in the streets at the wrong place, at the wrong time. To drive the point across that people shouldn’t drink and drive, London’s DOT decided to scare the crap out of a bunch of guys who were using the bathroom at the bar (or should I say pub?) they were in.

As they wash their hands, a bloody mannequin smashes through the window complete with sound effects.

I guess the DOT decided to go the “scare ‘em into sobriety” route – or at least make them never want to wash their hands again. What do you think?

Stoneline Frying Pans — Are They Worth It?

Stoneline PanI cook.  I don’t mean a little.  I mean a lot.  Those that know me also know that among other things I’m a Lunch Lady (well, okay… technically a Lunch Man), a caterer, and general all around foodie.  When I saw the infomercial on the Stoneline pans, I had to look into it a bit further.  I mean, how different can they be from other non-stick pans, right?
