Wii Party U Launches This October 25thYou might not have been invited to any Halloween parties until now, but fret not – who needs friends who do not care about how you feel when you can spend your time in front of the TV in your living room with Wii Party U as the game launches on the Wii U platform later this October 25th? “Nintendo Land” Wii U bundle replaced with Mario bundle

The Wii U is getting a packaging revamp in time for the holidays, but it may not be enough to save the unprofitable Wii successor in the long run. Starting Nov. 1, the $299 Wii U bundle with the Nintendo Land game will be replaced with a bundle that includes both New Super Mario Bros. […]

Nintendo Wii U Deluxe Set Including New Super Mario Bros. U, Luigi U Starting Nov. 1

Nintendo Wii U Deluxe Set Including New Super Mario Bros. U, Luigi U Starting Nov. 1

Nintendo has been attempting to make its Wii U an appealing video game console to purchase this year as just a few months ago, they announced they would be cutting the price of the Wii U Deluxe set from $349.99 to a more acceptable $299.99. A $50 drop in price doesn’t seem to have improved much in terms of the Wii U’s sales, so Nintendo is now changing things around with what games are bundled in with the Wii U in order to make it a more valuable purchase. Super Mario 3D World Trailer Features Its Fair Share Of Cat Costumes

Fans of video games will most probably know just how popular the Mario franchise is to Nintendo, as it is an integral part of the company. Well, we have seen our fair share of Mario titles over the years, and they have the tendency to ride out as winners in their very own right. Thanks to advancements in technology that allow us to view stuff like trailers, we now bring you the latest Super Mario 3D World trailer that interestingly enough, does seem to feature its fair share of cat costumes.

The trailer itself will be in Japanese entirely, where it depicts just how some four-player gameplay action will be like on debut Wii U Mario title. In this particular trailer, it also depicts each character’s special moves in addition to being all decked out in cat costumes. When it comes to Mario, his special ability does seem to be his famous bounce attack, while Luigi boasts of the ability to jump extra high, with Princess Peach floating around, while Toad, the smallest member of the group, is able to dash about. Considering they are all wearing cat costumes, all of them will be able to perform claw and slide attacks in addition to climb vertical surfaces.

There are also other transformations that would make up part of the game, where among them include Double Mario, Giant Mario, various boxes, in addition to favourites such as Fire Mario and Tanooki Mario. Expect Super Mario 3D Land to arrive in North America on November 22 in Europe on November 29.

No Assassin’s Creed 4 DLC For The Wii U

No Assassins Creed 4 DLC For The Wii UWhile there have been several developers and publishers who have chosen to skip the Wii U, there are some who still support Nintendo’s latest console, albeit not in its fullest. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 4 is available for the Nintendo Wii U, but it seems that if you were looking forward to getting your hands on some Assassin’s Creed 4 DLCs for your Wii U, you’d be out of luck. The folks at Gamereactor have spoke to Ubisoft who has confirmed that the Wii U version of Assassin’s Creed 4 will not be getting the upcoming DLC that will introduce a new single-player story, a Kraken Ship Pack, along with new multiplayer characters.

It is unclear if it is only this DLC that will be skipping the Wii U, or if all future Assassin’s Creed 4 DLCs will skip the Wii U, but either way we’re sure Wii U games cannot be pleased by this. We’re hoping that this will not become a common occurrence for Wii U games. After all Batman: Arkham Origins for the Wii U will not come with a multiplayer mode and will actually be priced cheaper to make up for it, and while it might not matter to gamers who just want to play the storyline, having features left out deliberately is not a good feeling. Wii U gamers what do you guys think? Will you be passing up on certain games just because they lack features that other consoles are getting?

Those of you who picked up The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD are probably well aware at how limited the battery can be on the Wii U GamePad if you attempt to play the game for several hours at a time. This time around, there are three more Wii U bundles that are set to arrive in the UK, so you might want to mark November 8th on your calendars as that is when the release of a New Super Mario Bros. U/32GB deluxe edition Wii U game console will arrive. Do take note that this particular pack will also come with the Luigi-based expansion.
