Xbox One Launches In 26 New Markets This September

In November last year Microsoft released its much awaited next generation gaming console. Even though it has faced tough competition from Sony’s PlayStation 4 in the market, the Xbox One continues to fight and expand its footprint across the world. The company confirmed today that Xbox One is going to be launched in 26 new markets come September 2014. These include countries such as Japan, Korea, Russia, South Africa, several countries in South America as well as a swath of countries in Europe.

    XBox One Sales up 96 Percent in the UK

    TitanfallAs predicted, Respawn’s Titanfall is the number one selling game for XBox One and PC so far in 2014.  The game also sparked a rise in sales of Xbox One consoles in the UK to it’s highest level. In fact, many are reporting to buy the console just so they can play the game.

    XBox One Titanfall bundles have accounted for more than 70 percent of Xbox One hardware sold since the release of the game on March 14th. The bundles includes the console and a download token of the game for £399.

The game was launched primarily on Microsoft’s platforms such as Windows, the Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.     Xbox One Controllers Will Work For The PC, Drivers IncomingIf you’re a PC gamer looking for a gaming controller for the PC and you already own the Xbox One, you will have to look no further because according to Albert Penello of Microsoft in a post on NeoGAF, he reassured gamers that the Xbox One controller will work for the PC, and that rumors that you will need to buy a separate controller for the PC are “100% wrong”.

    According to Penello, Microsoft will soon be releasing drivers for the PC that will make the controller compatible with the PC, stating that this will essentially be the same deal that they had with the Xbox 360 which worked perfectly fine the PC as well. (more…)
