Titanfall is an upcoming FPS game that will be making its way onto Microsoft’s platforms like Windows and the Xbox. The release of the game is set for the 11th of March for the Xbox One and the bad news for Xbox One gamers is that the final resolution of the game will not be as high as you might think. According to a post on NeoGAF, a certain poster by the name of CBOAT (who has in the past been pretty reliable regarding Microsoft-related leaks) revealed that Titanfall for the Xbox One will only be released at 720p instead of 792p which was the original plan. No word on when Respawn Entertainment decided to drop the resolution towards the end, but for the less discerning gamer, we reckon it probably won’t matter too much.

However for gamers who are really picky about their graphics, perhaps you might notice some slight differences. It is actually quite surprising given that the beta of the game ran fine at 792p, so if we had to guess perhaps there were some last minute issues that might have forced Respawn Entertainment to drop it down to 720p. Either way we reckon gameplay will be more important than graphics. After all why bother with a game that looks good if it doesn’t play well, right? Either way we guess we will have to wait for the game’s release to see if the drop to 720p will make a huge impact. Anyone else disappointed by this?

There comes a point in time when everyone starts to look forward to a particular game which might just be a defining moment in a console’s life, and I would suppose that Titanfall would be one of such titles on the next generation Xbox One console. Titanfall was first revealed at E3 2013, and it has since grown to be one of the more highly anticipated games in the new generation of consoles. In fact, Titanfall has already picked up over 80 awards from critics worldwide, where the game itself has been specially described to be “a brave new vision of the future of multiplayer games”, “the first real next-gen shooter” and “the most addictive game ever.”

Hopefully, with such an incredible amount of pressure riding on this title in order to make it a success on the Xbox One platform, it will be able to deliver when the crunch time comes. In fact, to celebrate the launch of Titanfall, it seems that Xbox One fans will be in for a treat. As part of an encouragement for more of your mates to join in on day one of the game’s launch itself, it is set to arrive in the form of the Xbox One Titanfall Bundle. This unique bundle will be made available from March 11 onward over at select retailers, where it will be selling for $499.99 a pop.

You can definitely place a pre-order if you are interested, and just to make sure you know what you are getting into, this particular bundle will include a download code for a digital copy of Titanfall, a standard Xbox One console with a Kinect sensor, a single Xbox One wireless controller which will be accompanied by a chat headset, in addition to a single month’s worth of Xbox Live Gold membership. Earlier this month Microsoft released the much awaited Xbox One February update after it was slightly delayed causing it to miss its intended release date. The update brought improvements to content management and also allowed users to see on the home screen just how much battery life is left in the controllers. My Games and My Apps lists were dissected so that users could manage libraries more easily, the update also brought support for using a USB keyboard with the Xbox One. Microsoft is now inviting select Xbox Live members to test a preview of the Xbox One March update, which is to improve multiplayer and party issues on the console.
