Titanfall Beta Release Is Possible

Titanfall Beta Release Is Possible

Respawn Entertainment is the developer behind the highly anticipated first person shooter Titanfall, which will be released for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on March 11th. Those who are anxiously awaiting this game can hardly wait for it to drop, most of them would not have been happy about not being included in the limited closed alpha test of Titanfall that was launched this past weekend. Gamers watching out for an open beta could be in luck, as Respawn community manager Abbie Heppe has said that Titanfall beta release is possible.

Heppe was responding to a query on Twitter, in which she was asked if there was any possibility of an open beta for Titanfall, “it’s possible,” replied Heppe. If that is indeed the case, then it would be safe to assume that an open beta launch might take place soon, given the fact that the game’s public release is less than two months away any way. For all we know, this might never happen. The only people who’re getting a first look at Titanfall right now are those who have been included in the limited alpha test. Microsoft is drumming up publicity for Respawn Entertainment’s new game by launching a limited edition Titanfall Xbox One controller, its available for pre-order now.

Harmonix Cancels Unannounced Xbox One Game

Harmonix Cancels Unannounced Xbox One GameXbox One gamers, if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on some musical-like games for your console, you might be disappointed to learn that developer Harmonix has announced that they have cancelled one of their games for the Xbox One platform. The good news is that this project is one of the company’s unannounced projects, meaning that whatever Harmonix has announced is still on track, but whatever it is they were working on has been shelved for now. Unfortunately it was not mentioned what the game that was cancelled was about, but apparently it was a game that took advantage of the Xbox One’s Kinect.

This is pure speculation at this point, but it has been suggested that a Dance Central game could have been given the axe. Given that many gamers have been looking forward to a new Dance Central with no announcement Harmonix, it could be a possibility, although do take it with a grain of salt for now. If you’re unfamiliar with Harmonix, they’re a company that has created titles such as Dance Central and a series of Rock Band titles, which was essentially Guitar Hero but taken to the next level by introducing other instruments to the game, making it a more complicated and entertaining experience. In any case we’ll keep an eye for announcements, so check back with us later for more updates!

Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb Wants The Online Hate Between Both Consoles To End

Larry Major Nelson Hyrb Wants The Online Hate Between Both Consoles To EndSony PlayStation 4 or Microsoft Xbox One? We’re sure both platforms have their pros and cons that hardcore fans can spend days arguing over, but does it really matter? To a certain extent it does matter because gamers have to choose between platforms due to each platform offering different games and different exclusives, such as God of War for Sony, Halo for Microsoft, and the Mario franchise for Nintendo, so yes, to a certain point it matters which platform gamers choose. However despite these differences, Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb stated that the online hate from all camps needs to go away. (more…)

Titanfall Gets Limited-Edition Xbox One Controller

If there’s one game I’m really excited about that’s coming soon to the Xbox One, it’s Titanfall. I feel like it’s been way too long since I played a good game with mech battles, so I can’t wait to play it when it hits this March. Now, Microsoft and Respawn Entertainment have revealed a limited-edition game controller to go with the game.

I have to say I really like the design of this wireless Xbox One controller, with graphics inspired by the C-101 carbine, a weapon used by the IMC Titan pilots in the game.
