Last week, Sony announced over 1 million PlayStation 4s have been sold in just 24 hours of its launch in the U.S. and has sold a total of 2.1 million units globally. Microsoft originally responded to this news by saying the Xbox One has been experiencing “overwhelming demand” from the countries it launched in, although no hard numbers were given at the time.
