This Xbox One Mini Takes 3D Printing To Another Level

We know it’ll be only a matter of time until Microsoft releases a slimmer version of its Xbox One, especially when you consider how heavy the dang console is when compared to the PlayStation 4. The slimming down of the Xbox One will inevitably happen some time in the console’s future, although if you can’t wait to get your hands on a smaller Xbox One, then the next best thing would have to be this 3D-printed Xbox One.     We recently learned the PlayStation 4 only costs a total of $381 to build, which means its current selling price of $399 allows Sony to rake in just $18 per console that’s sold. Now that the Xbox One is out in the wild, IHS has once again estimated what it costs to build Microsoft’s next-generation console, and it looks like the company isn’t making much money with the sale of each console either.     U-Verse dropping Xbox 360 receiver support after December 31st

    We hope you weren’t bent on using the Xbox 360 as a U-Verse TV receiver. AT&T is now telling customers that it will drop IPTV support for Microsoft’s older console after December 31st, leaving viewers with little choice but to use a conventional set-top box. Subscribers will get a $99 credit in return for their troubles, the provider says. We’ve reached out to AT&T for more details regarding the move, but there are no signs of an official Xbox One substitute on the horizon.
