    New YouTube Web UI TestedYouTube, a property of Internet search giant Google, has certainly done its fair share of work to improve the mobile versions of its products and services. In theory, these web versions of their products will be able to run on just about any HTML5 browser regardless of the platform, and it seems as though Google is now working on the mobile version of YouTube’s user interface. This particular user interface update for its YouTube app would most probably see the card UI which Google has been working on a whole lot in recent times.

    Google Search Update Puts YouTube Videos Front And Center

    Google is the widely used online search engine in the world, and the company now does so much more than letting you search for anything and everything. YouTube is another one of Google’s highly successful online properties and today a new Google Search update aims to leverage that by placing YouTube videos front and center. Now if you search for a song on Google, a Google Now style card will be displayed. This card will feature a link to the song on YouTube, so people can simply click through to the video sharing website without having to open it in another window or tab.

    Susan Wojcicki To Head YouTube Division

    Susan Wojcicki To Head YouTube DivisionGoogle executive Susan Wojcicki has just been given a promotion, where she is now the new head of Google’s YouTube video business, at least according to Reuters, whose sources happen to be close to the matter. This particular promotion will see Wojcicki take over Salar Kamangar, where it represents the most recent change to Google’s top properties. Apparently, Google is looking to transform YouTube into a large money spinner, and according to Needham & Co. analyst Kerry Rice, “It’s one of the biggest traffic sources on the internet, so it makes sense to want to try to monetise the best they can.”
