Tracking Down Great Software For You!

One of the biggest things that I hate when reinstalling Windows is hunting down all of my drivers. I eventually got clever enough where I downloaded all of the drivers I needed and put them on a CD. Then each time I needed them they were always easy to find. Well, it looks like I was taking a completely wrong approach.

There is a program called DriverMax that will backup all of your current Windows XP drivers into a single file. You can pick and choose which ones you want saved and then it will do the work for you. You are then able to let DriverMax reinstall all, or a select few, of your drivers whenever you would like.

While I could see this being the most useful when installing a fresh copy of XP it would probably save you the most time if your system gets corrupt and the Windows Driver Rollback feature doesn’t work (which I have had happen before). You can never have enough backups when it comes to important system files.

So how much would you pay for a great piece of software like this? I could see it being worth $15 or at least $5 but they are offering it for free! Just give them your email address (they say @yahoo.com addresses don’t work) and they will send you the registration code at no cost.
