We know, you’ve seen enough iDevice docks to make your eyes bleed with frustration, but if your bedside table is growing a bit cluttered with all the appendages and chargers you have lying around, you might wanna check this one out. Kenwood’s 7-inch AS-iP70 can serve as a picture viewer, a music player, an alarm clock, or an FM radio, while also packing USB and SD card inputs for alternative media sources. All in all, it looks quite slick and has plenty of buttons to play around with, but be warned that its 800 x 480 resolution is intended for pictures only, there’s no video playback to be had. If that and the ¥25,000 sticker (about $270, launching in Japan this April) have you running scared, you might want to check out Sony’s cheaper, AVI-playing alternative right over here. Oh yeah, you’re a party waiting to happen when you’ve got the Samson Expedition XP40iw, the company’s first iPod sound system with a wireless mic. Other portable iPod speakers let you fill the room with your music, but this Expedition also lets you talk or sing over the speaker. It might try your friends’ patience, but you’ll be a star. The XP40iw has a 40 watt speaker, a rechargeable battery (so you don’t have to worry about being near a power outlet), and an iPod dock. It also includes two inputs for additional mics or instruments.

For bigger needs, Samson is also debuting the Expedition XP5101i, a 500 watt system with a detachable 10 channel mixer. It includes an iPod dock, but can’t work wirelessly, as the XP40iw can. Its dual two-way speakers each have 10-inch woofers. The entire unit–two speakers, mixer, and cables–folds together for easy transportation and weights just over 50 pounds. Both models are due out in April. The XP40iw will list for under $300 and the XP510i for under $700.

The Buffalo Dualie takes two of the most ubiquitous items around — namely iPod and HDD docks — and does the inevitable by splicing them into one device. You should already be familiar with it from our CES coverage, but just to refresh your memory this is a dual-purpose docking station, accepting hard drives and iDevices of most colors and creeds. It comes bundled with a swish-looking 500GB storage drive, and we hear Buffalo is pretty cheerful about satisfying Apple’s stringent standards to make this an Apple Store exclusive. Yep, that means you can only buy this direct from Apple, but if you’ve already tasted the forbidden fruit once to get your iPod or iPhone, another bite shouldn’t really hurt, should it?

Hey, can you feel the vibe? That was actually your iPhone being snapped off by your reclining-inclined back. Anyhow, some genius at Branex Design of France decided that people would totally buy this $570, 11.5-pound speaker stool. Underneath the hood are four 1.5-inch 10W tweeters and a 5.25-inch 80W subwoofer to shudder your pelvis, all of which contribute to an overall power rating of 70W. There are over ten colors to choose from, too. Let’s just hope that Philippe Starck doesn’t see this and cry.
