Samsung NC20, 3G NC10 now available for pre-order in the UK

The Russians have already declared their love, and soon you’ll be able to get your mitts on the Samsung NC20 and see for yourself what all the fuss is about. It’s now available for pre-order from UK retailer BT Shop, priced at £390.98 ($565) VAT included, with a white model due out in February and a black iteration in March. Both models sport a 12.1-inch WXGA display, Windowx XP Home Edition, 1.3GHz VIA Nano U225 CPU processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Bluetooth, 3-in-1 card reader, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a 6 Cell battery — no SSD option at the moment. Additionally, the shop is also showing a new NC10 equipped with HSDPA coming next month for £416.63 ($602) with VAT, which is £107 ($154) more than its non-3G equivalent. Not to worry, US readers, we’re sure Sammy will be asking for your Benjamins soon enough.

[Thanks, Darpan]

KORG DS-10 synthesizer up for pre-order in America

DS owners in Japan have been enjoying the spoils of the KORG DS-10 synthesizer for over half a year, but at long (long!) last, we Americans are about to receive equal treatment. The game itself, which is graciously priced at just $29.99, is now up for pre-order on GameStop’s website. The listed ship date is February 9th, but we wouldn’t go betting the farm on that being entirely accurate. Nevertheless, we’re down to counting days and hours rather than months and weeks before we’ll be able to shove a synth in our pockets without paying import prices. Huzzah!

HP’s iPAQ Data Messenger finally up for pre-order

In reality, HP should’ve made sure that its iPAQ Data Messenger shipped alongside the Voice Messenger back in December, but given that it didn’t, we suppose it’s a small victory that the handset is finally up for pre-order in the UK today. Of course, getting any halfway intelligent Briton to spend £419 ($593) on this already forgotten WinMo 6.1 device (with Mobile World Congress just weeks away, no less) is a challenge we’re thrilled to not be responsible for.

[Thanks, Lester]

Sprint Treo Pro now on sale at Best Buy

We already knew that the Sprint-branded Treo Pro was making guest appearances at the occasional Best Buy, but thanks to a hard working web admin, you’re one step closer to owning one without having to step foot in the aforesaid store… if you’re willing to wait, that is. Palm’s CDMA Treo Pro has found itself a holding page on Best Buy’s website, and while we’re desperately hoping the $699.99 off-contract price is still subject to change (read: drop), those anxious to get in early can pre-order one as we speak. Loose estimates have it shipping in a week or two, but we noticed that the handset was go for in-store pickup in most B&M locations near us. Oh, and don’t forget the “Great Financing Offer” as you checkout — with a sticker pushing seven bills, you’ll probably need it.

[Thanks, Brian]

Sony’s VAIO P netbook ultraportable isn’t slated to start shipping until February here in the States, but those absolutely certain that they want one stuck in their coat and / or rear pants pocket can get in line starting today. The pre-orders are open for Sony’s 1.4 pound VAIO, with $899.99 to $1,499.99 securing your spot on the launch list. They’re available in a whole heap of colors (garnet red, emerald green, onyx black, crystal white and classic black), and there’s even an engraving option if you’re already thinking about a rather spectacular Valentine’s Day gift. Hint, hint, gentlemen.
