Apple To Automate Production Of iPhone Batteries [Rumor]

Apple To Automate Production Of iPhone Batteries [Rumor]According to a recent report from DigiTimes, they claim that according to their sources, it seems that Apple will be producing all of its iPhone batteries on automated production lines starting later this year. Apparently this is done to help reduce the amount of manpower required and allowing the company to shift its supply chain resources towards other things.

The report claims, “Apple has already automated its Mac Pro and iMac production lines. Other than materials and final assembly, manpower is not required for the rest of the manufacturing.” If anything this sounds like a good idea because according to an earlier rumor, Pegatron has been pegged to be one of the companies responsible for assembling the upcoming iPhone 6. Judge Validates Two Of BlackBerrys Patents In Typo LawsuitAs you guys have probably heard by now, BlackBerry is suing the makers of the Typo iPhone keyboard over alleged patent infringement. BlackBerry Reportedly Working On 1080p Device

BlackBerry Reportedly Working On 1080p DeviceAs it stands, the BlackBerry Z30 is the Canadian company’s largest smartphone to date. It is also the latest smartphone, pending the release of the BlackBerry Z3 and the BlackBerry Q20. Of course you might argue that we don’t really need such sharp displays or that it might not be noticeable, and while that argument does hold some valid points, in the face of marketing, BlackBerry just ends up looking “inferior”. However that could be changing soon, thanks to the recently leaked BlackBerry OS 10.3 which hints at a 1080p Full HD device. (more…)

However they do look pretty authentic, but either way we guess it does make for a pretty interesting point of discussion. There is also a chance that these are screenshots of an early build of BlackBerry 10.3, so the end results could look very different. (more…)
