There’s No Stopping This Juggernaut Trike

There’s No Stopping This Juggernaut TrikeI don’t know about you, but each time the word “trike” is mentioned in a conversation, my mind would automatically switch over to the trike in the world of Dune, where it is faster but less durable than the quads, although it does make short work of infantry. Having said that, the Juggernaut trike that you see here is a unique off-road three wheeler that is capable of riding over snow and ice, and heck, stairs are not going to stop it, either. And by stairs, I mean stairs that go upwards – not down.

Bicycle Pizza Cutter: Stay in the Cheese Lane

Ride a bike, slice a pizza. You won’t be able to do this on a regular bike, but you will be able to do so using one of these clever bicycle wheel pizza cutters. Your fingers will be the ones doing the riding though, unless you’re the size of Alice after she drank the potion from the bottle with the “Drink Me” label.

There’s a black and yellow version for guys, and a light blue and pink version for girls. Or, you know, vice versa, considering how everyone’s just mixing things up these days and I’m finding more girls like black instead of pink.

Each bicycle pizza cutter features double sharp cut discs. In short, the wheels are the ones that are doing all of the cutting.

The Fixie Pizza Cutter is available from Doiy Design for €17.95 (~$25 USD).

URB-E Folding Electric Bike: Ridin’ Nerdy

The problem with a lot of personal vehicles is that they are too bulky. You just can’t get them on a bus or a train for instance, even if it is convenient otherwise. The URB-E has been specifically designed to be able to quickly fold and unfold. And you can easily carry it with you.

This folding electric bike has top speed of 15mph, a 20 mile range on a single charge, and it folds down small enough to fit next to you on a train or bus, which is a big plus.

Folks who live in large cities are going to love the freedom that this bike offers. It is quick to deploy and put away and small enough to take it anywhere.

The URB-E project is on the Indiegogo crowdfunding website right now looking to raise enough to go from concept to production. Prices for the bike range from $799 to $1599(USD), depending on if you want one made overseas or handmade in the U.S.

If you look at how it works, then you’ll see it’s more like a tethered pair of roller skates than anything else. The added handles provided additional balance so you can push forward and go faster with ease. There’s also an optional basket attachment so you can carry groceries and other items.

Aside from letting you go places faster, it also gives you a bit of a workout in the process. According to its makers “The AeYO exercises your fitness, coordination and strength. It is recommended by leading orthopaedists and athletes for its efficiency in therapy and workout.”

It’s pricey though, as the AeYo comes with a €449 (~$610 USD) price tag. It’s available in six colors (red, blue, green, white, gray, black) and two sizes.

RYNO Cycle Could Make Unicycles Cool Again

Do you remember some of the weirder names when it comes to far older modes of two-wheeled transportation such as the penny farthing? Well, the unicycle has not exactly been the most popular mode to get around in the past, where it more or less remained within the domain of the circus, but here we are with the RYNO Cycle which could very well change one’s perception on this transportation option.

World’s first front flip forward bike flip trick is a real spin cycle

World's first front flip forward bike flip trick is a real spin cycle

It’s amazing the new tricks that people can just invent with their bikes. Once you think that everything has been done before, someone decides to murder the laws of physics. This new trick though might be more impressive because I’m getting the spins just looking at it. How does the rider manage to land such a violent combination of a front flip and forward bike flip in one leap? Amazing.

Doing bike tricks off a moving truck half pipe seems brilliantly nuts

Doing bike tricks off a moving truck half pipe seems brilliantly nuts

Imagine yourself stuck in traffic. Imagine listening to some Top 40 radio station playing the same 4 songs over and over and wondering about the things you would do if you didn’t have to commute. Imagine your brain numb. And then imagine seeing some psycho bike rider pull off some bike tricks off of a half-pipe on top of a moving truck. In the middle of traffic. That would be fun for everyone.

Insane bike trick seems to murder the laws of physics

Insane bike trick seems to murder the laws of physics

We no longer live on Earth, my friends. We’re in some weird world where people can do the impossible. Do you want to fly? You should try. Do you want to spin in the air in both directions? I think you can. Because this insane Superman double backflip bicycle trick destroys everything that should be humanly possible. The rider does a full back flip while fully extended in a Superman pose, somehow re-gathers himself onto the bike and then does another full back flip. All in one jump. Sweet.

Crazy guy rides a bicycle backwards down a steep mountain

Crazy guy rides a bicycle backwards down a steep mountain

Because riding a bicycle down a steep mountain road after it just rained isn’t crazy enough, Eskil Ronningsbakken wanted to up the crazy by doing the whole ride backwards. So yes, he was balancing himself, steering, braking, making sharp turns, veering away from cars and zooming down the mountain while facing the completely opposite direction on a wet freaking road.
