Back in March, Nikon announced their latest mirrorless camera in the form of the Nikon 1 V3. However it seems that the Nikon 1 V3 is not the only mirrorless camera Nikon has up their sleeves. This is thanks to recent rumors and now a recent photo leak of the upcoming Nikon 1 J4 that is rumored to debut next week.

Naturally Nikon has not confirmed any of this so take it with a grain of salt for now, although given that Nikon’s mirrorless cameras do come in the V and J variety, we guess an update to its J-lineup is expected. (more…)

The Nikon D600 DSLR which was first announced in September a couple of years ago, has also been marked as discontinued a wee bit more than a year down the road after that. It was a pretty short life cycle, don’t you think so? Well, it seems that there is an issue with which multiple granular black spots happen to be reflected in images shot with the Nikon D600 DSLR, and Nikon has issued an apology for the inconvenience caused to avid shutterbugs who tote the Nikon D600 around.

The Nikon 1 V3 is the new clubhouse leader when it comes to continuous-shooting speeds with (and without) autofocus enabled.

The Nikon 1 V3 has just been announced, where this is the most recent addition to the V series of Nikon 1 advanced cameras that boast of interchangeable lenses, allowing avid shutterbugs to be able to work on new forms of imaging expression. It is a sequel to the Nikon 1 V2 that was released in October 2012. Not only that, Nikon has also rolled out the brand new 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM, which is a normal zoom lens that is compatible with the CX format, where it will cover the 10-30mm range of focal lengths. The 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM also holds the current record of being the world’s lightest interchangeable lens that is equipped with a power-drive zoom function, apart from being the world’s first interchangeable lens that is equipped with power-drive zoom to make use of an electrically controlled lens cover.
