Claimed as the world’s slimmest and lightest waterproof tablet by Sony, this high-end tablet sports a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display, a 2.36GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974AB), a 3GB RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, dual cameras (2.2MP front & 8.1MP rear), GPS, NFC, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. A few days ago, Sony finally released the PlayStation 4 in Japan. A little odd given that Sony is a Japanese company, so you might think that they would target their home market first, but we guess better late than never, right? In any case how did the console do for its opening weekend?
Well according to a report from Famitsu, it seems that the PS4 did extremely well in Japan during its opening weekend and managed to sell over 300,000 units, 322,083 units to be exact. (more…)

Xbox One Price Cut Across The Pond

Back in November last year the console was finally released, more or less around the same time that Sony released its new console, the PlayStation 4. Both have been battling it out in the market since then, and as per figures provided by the companies, it appears that PS4 has taken the lead. Presumably this is what has lead to the first ever Xbox One price cut in the UK, where its now down to £399.99, a £30 cut on its original price.

The Xbox One will soon be a bit cheaper ‘cross the pond. Starting this Friday, the Xbox One will be £399.99 in the UK. That’s a drop of £30 from its launch price. While the cut will certainly make the console a bit more attractive, the PS4 is still less expensive and raking up impressive sales numbers. Posted in: Today's ChiliSince the launch of the Xperia Z, Sony has been back in the mobile handset game, and today, I was impressed with the quality of the new Xperia Z2 that was unveiled at the press conference at MWC.
The key features of the latest Sony flagship are its gorgeous 5.2-inch Full HD Triluminos display and a 20.7 Megapixel camera featuring an Exmor RS sensor and Sony’s G lens.
Sony’s mobile camera sensor quality is quite well known, specifically for its good low light performance, in fact the Japanese manufacturer counts Apple among its customers. (more…)
