Netgear’s Push2TV wireless TV adapter caught nonchalantly hanging out in the wild

Interested in getting prepared for all your Wireless Display (WiDi) needs? Looks like Netgear’s Push2TV wireless TV adapter is already on the shelves of at least one Best Buy, right in front of a $99 price tag that matches the press release from before. The back of the box photo, seen after the break, doesn’t shed any new light on the device. Unless you’re really into (near term) future proofing of your wireless display needs, it might be best to wait for a few more options when it comes to fancy-schmancy new compatible machines.

T-Mobile Fender MyTouch 3G in the wild, due for launch January 20

A lot’s happened since T-Mobile first announced the myTouch 3G Fender Limited Edition, but if you’re looking for last-gen Android hardware in the sweetest case around, your wait is almost up: test units are going our to T-Mobile reps, and that formal launch will occur on January 20th. No word on pricing, but we can’t imagine it’ll be cheaper than the current myTouch 3G, especially since it adds a much-needed 3.5mm headphone jack and has that fancy woodgrain finish, bundled 16GB microSD card, and preloaded music. Yeah, we’ll still take the Nexus One, although we’d bet the myTouch 3G actually has… 3G.

BlackBerry Curve 8910 in the wild?

If you thought RIM had completely run out of ways to mildly remix its existing portrait QWERTY formula, think again — the transition from trackball to optical pad has opened up a whole new world of exciting opportunities, and it looks like the venerable Curve 8900 might be the next model to get the refresh. BerryReview appears to have scored a shot of the alleged 8910 in its most natural environment — a desk calendar — preserving the Curve series’ typical broken-up keyboard style (as opposed to the connected keys you see in the Bold line). Otherwise we don’t really know much, but naturally, the new model is said to be running BlackBerry OS 5.0 under the hood (in other words, it’ll look pretty much like every other BlackBerry you’ve used in recent memory). More on this puppy as we get it.

Update: Unwired View points out that there’s a Bluetooth SIG certification for an 8910, so this is all lining up pretty nicely, isn’t it?

HP Mini 210 spotted at retail with $350 pricetag

The yet-to-be-confirmed HP Mini 210 has popped up at a couple online retail spots already, but now it seems to have landed in the Real World courtesy of a Costco in Hillsboro, Oregon. We’ve seen the netbook listed at $280, $320 and now $350 pricetags, so we really don’t know who to trust anymore (certainly not our parent’s generation), but the sexy design, chiclet keyboard and unibutton trackpad certainly smack of progress.

Acer’s Aspire 1820PTZ convertible tablet hits the wilds of Singapore

Acer’s Aspire 1820PTZ convertible tablet may not be making its London debut until next month, but evidently said machine is alive and well (and shipping, to boot) over in Singapore. One particular enthusiast managed to procure one of the twistable rigs, and as a favor to anyone who appreciates freedom, Kris Kringle and In-N-Out double-doubles, he decided to unbox it, snap a few shots, throw up a video and even toss out a respectable list of impressions. We’re told that Acer crammed just about every piece of bloatware known to mankind onto this thing, and the owner didn’t seem particularly thrilled with the keyboard nor the overall multitouch experience. That said, performance was found to be “snappy enough for general use,” and the casing itself was satisfactorily solid. BlackBerry Essex sighted with Sprint branding (update: probably not)

Well, we’ve been seeing the BlackBerry Essex out in the wild for quite a while now, but this is the first time we’ve seen it with some Sprint branding, which we’re sure is enough to get at least some folks plenty excited (or regretful as the case may be). As most BlackBerry fans are no doubt well aware, the Essex is a Tour refresh that, among other things, adds some much needed WiFi capabilities to the phone, and ditches the Tour’s trackball in favor of a trackpad. Of course, this still isn’t a done deal just yet, especially considering that the branding seen is only in the OS and not on the device itself — not to mention the fact that the phone seems to have a curiously crooked trackpad. Update: As we’d mentioned, the trackpad looks vaguely weird — and on closer examination, it looks downright uncool when you’re zoomed in. We’re thinking this probably nothing more than a Tour with a Bold 9700 pad ‘shopped on; have to admit, though, the dude did a decent job. Thanks, Boy Genius!

iriver E30 ships in China, gets handled in the wild

iriver’s E30 hasn’t shaken any trees since quietly launching in mid-August, but evidently the minuscule, no-frills player is shipping over in China. Available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB flavors, the pocket-friendly DAP is currently selling for around $66 at the low-end, and if you’re eager to see precisely what it looks like in the wild, that source link down there has the goods you crave. Sadly, there’s still no definite word on a US release, but if you find yourself a few time zones over this holiday season, we’re certain it’d make for a great in-flight partner on the way back.

ITG xpPhone shown off in green, and yes, you can have a different color

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen what would appear to be an xpPhone dummy in the wild paired with a mocked-up display; that honor would go to a Computex debut earlier this year. What these new shots of ITG’s Windows XP-powered wonder do demonstrate, though, is what a MID-turned-smartphone looks like with a lick of moss green painted around the edges. It’s not really our style, to be honest — and fortunately, it seems that ITG will be offering the production device in white, red, black, or silver (on top of a limitless array of 3G options, display sizes, and operating systems), but heck, we’d be happy taking it in ochre if they’d just promise a reasonably-priced release in the next century.

RAmos W7 in the wild and looking good

Asus Eee Box EB1501 gets unBoxed

With that fancy disc drive, NVIDIA Ion under the hood, and considerable aesthetic improvements, the Eee Box EB1501 has seemingly little to do with the Asus Eee Box of yore. So, is it as stunning in person as it is on paper? The folks at Blogeee.net have unwrapped the thing and stood it on its fancy metal stand, and they seem to be digging it — of course, their impressions are written in French, so we can never be entirely sure. Now if only Asus could work in an internal Blu-ray drive we’d be set! Hands-on video is after the break.
