In an almost perfect world, this spy shot would be of the rumored HTC Dragon, reminiscent of the HD2 with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and packing the latest version of Android / Sense UI — in a more perfect world, this would all have been confirmed last week and in our hands today delivered via unicorn express, but that’s obviously not happening. Still, there’s something new and exciting about this device, but we’re grasping at straws beyond the handful of pics The Unlockr managed to obtain, several more of which can found just beyond the read link.

Impending Nikon announcements? You don’t have to tell the British Journal of Photography, who today published an article dated for tomorrow (oops!) all about its time with the as-of-yet unannounced D3s. So what can we glean from this report? For starters, standard ISO settings go as high as 12,800 (low is 200) and can be further boosted to an incredulous 102,400. The 12 megapixel DSLR also touts a 720p 24 frames per second HD video capture mode, and as far as price and release date are concerned, look for it this December, at least in the UK, for £4200 (about $6,685 in US). Nikon Rumors is expecting an official announcement from tonight, so perhaps we won’t be waiting too long — in the meantime, that site’s also hosting pics of the camera supposedly in the wild doing a photoshoot in Barcelona. This one’s about as early as it gets, but what you’re looking at above is purported to be a screenshot of a firmware build for a hereto unheard of Android device called the HTC Dragon. Now, that’s interesting enough in and of itself, but the real kicker is that the phone is said to pack a 1GHz processor (most likely Snapdragon), which should help make HTC’s Sense UI snappier than ever — the rumored 800 x 480 display certainly doesn’t hurt things either. Not much more to go on than that, unfortunately, but you can check out a few more exciting screenshots at the link below.

A handset described as “the most gorgeous BlackBerry on the planet” in early previews deserves a few more minutes in the spotlight, be it official or not. Vietnamese site tinh te returns with some of the best leaked shots and video we’ve seen to date giving us a crystal clear look at the 9700’s orange AT&T splash-screen, real pleather battery cover, and squircle trackpad. The last time we ran past Dell’s Zino HD all we had to go on specs-wise was that it housed “desktop parts” and had some nice plugs around back. Now the folks at the appropriately named DellZinoHD blog have found a spec breakdown of the unit, which is apparently also going by the names of Inspiron 300 and Inspiron 400 — the latter of which seems to be slated for the Zino HD branding, or at least seems to mirror the original concept. The Inspiron 300 has more of a nettop slant, with an Atom processor and integrated graphics, and though it has a DVD burner and 3.5-inch HDD, there won’t be HDMI or eSATA ports. Meanwhile, the Inspiron 400 can handle an Athlon or Athlon X2 processor, with an option for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics (not quite a “desktop” part, if you ask us) and all the other goodies like a Blu-ray option, HDMI, gigabit Ethernet, dual eSATA and so forth. Interestingly, the manual also mentions XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Ubuntu as supported options — though we’re not sure they’ll all be available as retail configurations.
