Remember that smattering of new FinePix cameras that leaked late last month? Turns out that Fujifilm had a bunch more in store that were missed, and we’re bringing the whole lot to you tonight. We suspect this is just the beginning of the pre-PMA rush, so we won’t waste any time getting to the nitty gritty — here’s what you need to know about each of the new models, with the full releases waiting for you after the break.

• FinePix AV100 ($99.95 / March): 12 megapixel CCD sensor, 2.7-inch rear LCD, Fujinon 3x optical zoom, ISO up to 3200, black / silver color options, 720p movie mode, optional HD player kit, panoramic mode, AA battery power
• FinePix AX200 ($109.95 (February): 12 megapixel CCD sensor, 2.7-inch rear LCD, Fujinon 5x optical zoom, ISO up to 3200, black / silver color options, 720p movie mode, optional HD player kit, panoramic mode, AA battery power
• FinePix F80EXR ($299.95 / April): 12 megapixel CCD sensor, 10x wide-angle optical zoom, 3.0-inch rear LCD, 720p movie mode, face recognition, pet detection, 22.9mm thick, black color option, dual image stabilization
• FinePix HS10 ($499.95 / April): Megazoom design, Fujinon 30x optical zoom (24 – 720mm equivalent on a 35mm camera), triple image stabilization, 1080p movie mode, mini HDMI output, 1000fps Super High Speed movie mode, AA battery power, 3.0-inch rear LCD, JPEG / RAW support

Because camera companies can only unveil point-and-shoot in groups of four or more, Samsung‘s just announced a quintet of scene stealers. Let’s go down the list, shall we? The 12.2 megapixel TL105 and 14.2 megapixel TL110 ultra-slims sport a 0.65-inch frame, 2.7-inch LCD, 720p 30fps H.264 video recording, some image effects, and a 4x / 5x optical zoom, respectively. Those will be available next month, with no price tag mentioned in the presser. The 12.2 megapixel SL630 claims all the other features but with a 28mm wide-angle lens, and only 640 x 480 AVI video recording — that one’s coming in March. Also coming in March are the 12-megapixel HZ30W and HZ35W, successors to the HZ10W / HZ15W and both with a wide-angle 24mm Schneider lens and 15x optical zoom. The pair does 720p 30fps H.264 video recording, but only the HZ35W can claim a 3-inch AMOLED screen and GPS geo-tagging. All the pics below and press releases after the break. Most manufacturers have yet to offer even one camera with a front-facing LCD, but that hasn’t stopped Samsung from adding two more models to its growing range. Having started the DualView antics with its TL220 and 225 variants, Sammy is now augmenting the line with the TL205 and 210 which, in spite of their lower numbering, possess a feature the older cams do not. Using the new hardware, you’ll be able to compose video as well as stills on the 1.5-inch front LCD, an added bit of functionality that should go over well with the target audience of party-loving hipsters. The TL210 also boasts optical image stabilization, a larger back-mounted display (3 inches versus 2.7), better optical zoom (5x versus 3x), and higher-res video recording (720p versus 640 x 480) than its junior sibling, though the two shooters share a 12MP CCD sensor. They do lose out on the haptic feedback touchscreens of their elder brethren, but that should make it easier for Samsung to price the new TL models aggressively when they’re released in March this year. Then again, if you really want the cheapest of the cheap, you can grab one of Samsung’s entirely unremarkable new SL600 or SL50 variants, whose PR blurb you can check out after the break together with more on the TL hardware.

It’s not impossible to find a camera with integrated WiFi out there, but your choices are unquestionably limited. Thankfully for those in the market for such a device, it seems as if Samsung is gearing up to release quite the formidable opponent. Without so much as an official press release, the CL80 has emerged on the outfit’s website packing a 14 megapixel sensor, optical image stabilization, a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen (capacitive with haptic feedback), a 720p movie mode (H.264), microSD expansion slot (groan…), USB 2.0 connectivity and an above-average 7x optical zoom. The Instant Upload feature enables users to upload their shots to Facebook, Flickr, Photobox or Picasa, and for those who prefer to capture motion clips, it’ll also shoot your videos to YouTube when a hotspot is found. Nary a word has been spoken regarding price or release, but we’re going out on a limb here and surmising that much more information will be revealed at CES.

Previous reviews haven’t been all smiles, but we’re finally able to pick up Nikon’s Coolpix S70 and see for ourselves. On form factor alone, it’s a pretty alluring build — even the faux leather front is tastefully done. While the tap-to-focus feature is a nice addition, we’re less enthused about the OLED screen’s viewing angles when outside — and seeing as we’ve go no other way to see the memories we’re framing, that’s pretty disappointing. We’re still putting it through its paces before we dole out full impressions, but in the meantime, enjoy our unboxing and hands-on photos.
