True metal-heads have already modded their Rock Band / Guitar Hero kits to accommodate that DW 5000, but for those who lack any DIY genes whatsoever, there’s this. Accessory maker PDP is gearing up to ship its universal Rock Band replacement kick pedal, which conveniently ships with a “double bass adapter that allows for two pedals to be used at the same time.” Time to get to work on your coordination skills, ’cause you’ll definitely want to lay down $24.99 on this when it ships on June 1st.

Ah, there we go. Not quite a week after HP’s Pavilion dv2 was spotted on sale in Thailand, the Blu-ray-packin’ ultraportable has now surfaced here in North America. Starting right now, prospective buyers can select a machine directly from HP, and if you’re still curious to see what exactly you’ll be buying, there’s even a link to a few hands-on images for your perusal. Oh, advice on financing? Sorry, that one’s on you.

When Samsung’s 2009 Blu-ray player lineup was outed at CES this year, all pricing and release date information was conveniently omitted. At long last, Sammy has pushed out the details we’ve been waiting for at its Spring Fever event in New York City. Granted, the BD-P3600 and BD-P1600 are already on store shelves for $399.99 and $299.99, respectively, but we figured it prudent to pass along those official numbers straight from the source. Of note, we’re also told that the ultrathin BD-P4600 will indeed be coming in April for $499.99, and if Best Buy’s website is to be believed, it’ll be April 19th if we’re talking specifics.

Remember that ARIR200 WiFi radio from back at CES? If not, you can take comfort in the fact that we’re the forgiving type, but Acoustic Research has rung in to inform the world that the so-called Infinite Radio is now on sale. For those with short memories, this radio brings along Slacker support, on-demand weather forecasts from WeatherBug, MP3tunes music locker streaming, an AM / FM radio tuner, USB and Ethernet connections and enough internal memory to hold ten hours of audio. The device is available now at regional chain stores and nationally online for $129.99, and if it’s the iPod-friendly ARIR600i you’re after, that’ll hit the market later in the year for $199.99. Dell’s new 24-inch G Series LCD, which was previewed during CES this year, has finally gone on sale at the outfit’s website. The G2410 flat-panel is said to be one of the firm’s greenest LCDs, as it proudly sports an EPEAT Gold rating and utilizes halogen-free laminates in circuit boards along with chassis plastics that contains 25 percent post-consumers recycled plastics. Other specs include a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution panel, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits of brightness, VGA / DVI connectors and a 5 millisecond response time. It’s all yours for $349, though there’s no apparent discount for hugging a tree prior to pulling the trigger.
